 Opening Ceremony – 13th June, 2019 (Thursday) at 6.00 p.m.

 REPORTING TIME:  13th June 2019, Afternoon 4.00 pm - All the Team Manager along with Competitors for outstation and competitors for Group 8 - 10 Yrs, 10 – 12 Yrs, 12 – 14 Yrs, 14 – 16 Yrs and 16 – 18 Yrs must report to

office with Banner & Flag at the venue with light bedding (Including mosquito net, Candle, Torch etc.) th  14 June, 2019, 6 p.m. – For other groups.

 ROUTE DIRECTION: BY TRAIN: From Howrah Midnapore Local - Midnapore Railway Station – Midnapore Sports Complex 5 minutes by Auto/Toto/Bus.

 ENTRY FEES: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred) only for each candidate.

 LAST DATE OF ENTRY: 18-05-2019, NO SPOT ENTRY will be entertained.

 DATE OF BIRTH:- Attested Copy of Birth (School Leaving / Corporation / Madyamik Admit Card) certificate is to be attached with Entry List. Calculation date will be 31.12.2019.

 DRESS OF PARTICIPANTS:- Male: Competitors should use only Yoga Costumes of single colour Female: Competitors may wear half Sleeve Yoga Costumes, tight & banyans. Girth & Half – Sleeve Blouse of Single Colour.

 ACCOMMODATION:- FREE FOODING & LODGING will be provided to candidates from 13th June’19 (Evening) to the afternoon of 16th June’19 for the outstation candidates subject to prior intimation to the office, within 18th May’19. TWO coaches (One each for both sex) and ONE Manager are allowed with a full team.

 MANAGERS MEETING:- Managers Meeting will be held on 13th June, 2019 (Thursday) at 6.00 pm at the Competition premises. “ATTENDING THE MANAGERS MEETING IS COMPULSORY for the all Managers for the above competition.

1. W.B. STATE YOGASANA COMPETITION (INSTRUCTIONS)

i. Number of Entries: Maximum Four Competitors of either sex in each Age Group from each District, & Two Competitors from Kolkata’s Unit / Club will be allowed to participate. – Time duration for each competitor – maximum 7 minutes.

2. W.B. STATE ARTISTIC YOGA SPORTS COMPETITION (INSTRUCTIONS)

a. The Artistic Yoga Sports Competition will be held in Junior (8-18 Years) age group & Senior Age Group (18-35 Years) Males & Females separately. No. of entries 2 from each District & 1 from Kolkata club. b. Artistic Yoga consists of presentation of various (postures) including forward and backward bending, balancing, lying postures, sitting postures, etc. performed with music. c. It is synchronization of body movement with music (without break). d. Number of postures performed should be 8-10 of competitor’s choice. e. Time duration for the presentation will be 120 to 150 seconds. f. The competitor will maintain each posture for at least 3-5 seconds during the performance. g. The transition from one posture to another posture should be slow & Artistic.

3. W. B. STATE ARTISTIC PAIR YOGA SPORTS COMPETITION (INSTRUCTIONS)

I. The Artistic Pair Yoga Sports Competition (either both Girls and both Boys) will be held in Junior (8-18 Years) age group & Senior Age Group (18-35 Years) Males & Females separately. No. of entries – 2 pairs from each District & 1 from Kolkata unit. II. Artistic Pair Yoga consists of presentation of various Asanas (postures) including forward and backward bending, balancing, lying postures, sitting postures etc. including pyramid making, performed with music. III. Both the participants will perform two different postures at a time. Performing same posture will be a disqualification. IV. Body touch is allowed in the competition as per the discretion of the competitors. V. Making of pyramid will be given preference. VI. Synchronization of body movements with music will be given top preference. VII. Number of postures performed should be 8-10 of competitor’s choice. VIII. Time duration for the presentation will be 120-150 seconds. IX. The competitor will maintain each posture for atleast 3-5 seconds during the performance. X. The transition from one posture to another posture should be slow, Artistic and Synchronized.

4. W. B. STATE RHYTHMIC YOGA SPORTS COMPETITION (INSTRUCTIONS)

I. The Rhythmic Yoga Sports Competition (The pair may consist of either both boys or both girls) will be held in Junior (8-18 Years) age group & Senior Age Group (18-35 Years) Males & Females separately. No. of entries – 2 pairs from each District & 1 from Kolkata unit. II. Rhythmic Yoga is also known as pair Yoga. Rhythmic Yoga Sports is the presentation of various asanas (postures) including forward bending, backward bending, balancing, lying postures etc. performed with music. III. The same posture should be performed by the pair together. IV. Number of postures performed should be 8-10 of competitor’s choice. V. There should not be any body touch between the two participants. VI. There should be perfect synchronization of body movements with the music. VII. Time duration for the presentation will be 120-150 seconds. VIII. The competitor will maintain each posture for at least 3-5 seconds during the performance. IX. The transition from one posture to another should be Slow, Rhythmic and Synchronized.

5. W. B. STATE FREE FLOW YOGA DANCE COMPETITION (INSTRUCTIONS):

Number of Entries: Only One team from One District / Unit / Club (Kolkata) can participate in the State Free Flow Yoga Dance Competition in Junior group i.e. 8 to 18 years (Boys, Girls or both mixed) & Senior Age Group (18-35 Years) (Male, Female or both mixed). I. The team will consist of 5 players either all boys or all girls or boys and girls mixed. II. It is the presentation of various asanas (postures) including forward bending, backward bending, balancing, lying postures etc. performed in dancing movements with music, preferably with some theme. III. The team can perform same postures/different postures / pyramids/ free flow movements. IV. There should be perfect synchronization of body movements with the music. V. Number of postures performed should be 8-10 Combination of of competitor’s choice. VI. Time duration for the presentation will be 180-210 seconds (3 to 3½ Minutes). VII. The competitor will maintain each posture for at least 3-5 seconds during the performance. VIII. The transition from one posture to another should be Slow, Rhythmic, Synchronized and in dancing movement. IX. The performance in the Free Flow Yoga Dance Competition should be with some theme & no prop. can be used.

 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The performer can start with movement or can stay in posture. In any case time should start when the music and movement start. 2. The time should stop with the bow gesture of the participants. 3. If the performer stays in a posture at the very beginning that posture should be counted. 4. Preference will be given to the melodious, devotional and classical music. 5. Competitor will strict their performance within the marked arena. Two marks will be deducted (from the marks of performance) if the competitor/s cross or touch the arena line during their performance. 6. The competitor/(s) have to stay at least for 3 to 5 Seconds in each Posture/Pyramid/Formation. Therefore if the competitor/(s) do not abide by the said rule for particular posture/Pyramid/Formation, in that case that posture/ Pyramid/Formation will deemed to be cancelled and accordingly the number of postures will be counted by the panel of judges.

Note: - 1. Judges Clinic & Lottery: Saturday, 11th May, 2019 at 3 p.m.

2. Any complaint should be lodged in official letter head along with protest fee of Rs. 500/- within ½ hour of completion of the group competition. 3. No competitors will be entertained for Artistic, Artistic pair, Rhythmic, Free Flow Yoga competition other than Yogasana Competitors of any group.

4. Prizes will be distributed on the same day of competition.
