We would also like to thank you personally for being involved in the Alice Springs ceremony as a presenter. The awards provide an excellent opportunity and vital platform to acknowledge and reward the valuable contribution made by a wide range of volunteers and volunteer involving organisations in Central Australia and the Top End. A total of 102 nominations were received from 57 volunteer involving organisations across the Northern Territory. The Alice Springs Awards ceremony attracted over 100 attendees and in Darwin we saw more than 300 people attend, which is a record crowd for this event. Without the support of sponsors Volunteering NT would not be able to hold the awards ceremonies or enable such important recognition of the volunteers of the NT. We thank you for your generosity and comm unity-minded ness.
