She coordinates the Short Form Station of Berlinale Talents and is a member of the Berlinale Shorts selection committee. Previously, she was the programme and project coordinator of Berlinale Shorts. She was also the coordinator and a member of the selection committee of Palestine Cinema Days. She holds a BA in Latin American studies (University of Cologne) and an MA in cultural studies (Goldsmiths, University of London).

Valentina Zingg (SUI), Pro Short Valentina Zingg is the managing director of Pro Short, the Swiss association for short films, where she coordinates the activities of the board as well as the administrative functions of the association. She is a programmer at Internation- ale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and a co-editor of the CINEMA yearbook. She studied English literature and linguistics, art history, and film studies in Zurich and Rome and is currently working on her PhD in epistemology at the Collegium Helveticum.
