Dossier Coldplay Para bien y para mal COLPLAY Tributo Antonio Vega Best of Coldplay, es un proyecto iniciado por los músicos Pedro Garba y Marcos Hervás, ambos componentes del grupo “Las malas lenguas”, estos plantean un acercamiento del grupo COLDPLAY en forma de tributo. El principal incentivo de este proyecto acentúa una visión critica del momento del grupo Coldplay con una identidad única en su forma de composición y estilo casi único, sus temas están de actualidad dentro del pop mundial como: Yellow, Clock o al archisonado “Viva la Viva”, Hymn For the Weekend, etc son la garantía de éxito de este tributo. Best of Coldplay, es una apuesta exclusiva del grupo “Las Malas lenguas” que con su gran trayectoria profesional, convierte dicho proyecto en un sello de garantía en calidad, dando un toque de color moderno y elegancia a sus actuaciones. Coldplay es una banda británica de pop rock formada en Londres en 1996. El grupo está integrado por Chris Martin (voz, teclado, guitarra), Jon Buckland (guitarra principal), Guy Berryman (bajo eléctrico) y Will Champion (batería, coros y otros instrumentos). Los primeros trabajos de Coldplay hicieron que la banda fuera comparada repetidas veces con artistas como Oasis, Radiohead, INXS, U2 y Travis. Alcanzaron el éxito internacional con el lanzamiento de su sencillo Yellow, seguido por su primer álbum debut, Parachutes (2000), que fue nominado a los Premios Mercury. Su segundo álbum, A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002) ganó múltiples premios, incluido el de Álbum del Año según el semanario NME. Pese a que su tercer álbum, X&Y (2005) no causó tanto entusiasmo, tuvo igualmente una recepción positiva. En 2015 su séptimo disco ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ ha sido grabado en Malibú, Los Angeles y Londres, y producido por el dúo noruego Stargate junto al habitual colaborador de la banda Rik Simpson. Se incluye más colaboradores que cualquier álbum anterior de Coldplay, con Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo o Merry Clayton, temas como: ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’ o el poderoso ‘Hymn For The Weekend’. 2019 sale su octavo trabajo “Everyday Life”. Coldplay han conseguido crear un disco redondo que va a gustar tanto a los primeros fans como a todos aquellos que se han ido sumando a sus filas a lo largo de su extensa discografía. “Everyday Life” se postula, no obstante, como ese disco que nos hubiera encantado escuchar en directo y que, de momento, no podremos disfrutar (han confirmado que no harán gira hasta que los conciertos no sean medio ambientalmente sostenibles). La propia banda lo ha calificado de experimental. “Everyday Life” es un disco heterogéneo, abarca, con éxito, muchos estilos, pero a su vez, el estilo propio de la banda está ahí, en cada rincón de cada canción. Un regreso por todo lo alto. FORMATOS La puesta en escena de este tributo va dirigida a dos formatos diferentes: El primer formato, es un espectáculo en línea audiovisual, donde la prioridad es tanto para la parte de video-iluminación como la parte musical, en este formato, hay un juego continuo de imágenes y videos proyectados de la banda COLDPLAY sincronizada con el espectáculo musical y sumando una programación de iluminación robotizada, en la cual, se obtendrá un resultado espectacular digno de los mejores concierto del momento. El segundo formato, va dirigido a un público mas sencillo, donde el matiz principal es la parte musical, formato muy recomendado para espectáculos tipo acústicos. Ambos formatos se garantiza la calidad suficiente para transmitir al publico la música de este gran grupo como es COLDPLAY. Michael Bloomfield became a close friend and mentor. The two musicians lived together for a period, and the famous guitarist even produced a Walker demo for Buddah Records, though nothing came of it. Then, in 1975, Walker walked away from the blues completely in order to escape the fast life and the drugs and alcohol associated with it that he saw negatively affecting Bloomfield and other musician friends. Walker knew nothing about the blues business when he started doing blues gigs again around the Bay Area with a band he’d put together, as a member of Oakland blues singer-guitarist Haskell “Cool Papa” Sadler’s band, and (for a tour of Europe) with the ad hoc Mississippi Delta Blues Band.

The good doctor had a reputation for giving vitamin B-12 injections containing large doses of amphetamines, mainly to well-heeled New Yorkers. But both John and Paul have denied that is the source 2 3 of the lyrics. Paul: “The song was a joke about this fellow who cured everyone of everything with all these pills and tranquilizers. He just kept New York high.” John: “‘Doctor Robert’ was another of mine. Mainly about drugs and pills. It was about myself: I was the one that carried all the pills on tour and always have done. Well, in the early days. Later on the roadies did it, and we just kept them in our pockets loose, in case of trouble.” Originally clocking in at nearly three minutes, the song was cut to 2:13 for its official release. The backing track was recorded in seven takes on April 17, 1966. Overdubs included Paul on piano, John on harmonium, and George on maracas. “Doctor Robert” was one of three songs issued in America six weeks prior to their official release in the UK. American and Canadian Beatles fans heard “I’m Only Sleeping,” “And Your Bird Can Sing,” and “Doctor Robert” first on Capitol Records’ “Yesterday And Today” album, issued June 20, 1966.
