The Sunshine Jazz Concert Series Presents The CAROLE ANN TAYLOR Ensemble Sunday, April 23rd, 2017

April 2017 MIAMI, FL – The monthly Sunshine Jazz Concert Series continues on Sunday, April 23rd with an exquisite evening of Jazz featuring the spectacular Jazz vocalist, Carole Ann Taylor!

Carole Ann Taylor has recently returned to her vocal career after a 25 year hiatus, raising her children and running her businesses. In her prior vocal career, Ms. Taylor performed throughout the U.S.A. and Caribbean Islands including New York City, Albany, N.Y., the Catskills, Washington, D.C., Cleveland, Ohio, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and Miami. Among Taylor's career highlights, she was the recipient of a five year contract from Duke Ellington in 1970, and studied under Ellington’s vocal coach, Luther Henderson as well as Brooks Alexander.

Ms. Taylor has performed with numerous Jazz greats including Lionel Hampton, Cedar Walton, Buck Clayton, Buddy Tate, Danny Mixon, Bobby Watson, Curtis Lundy, Donald Smith, Jet Nero, Howard Moss, Jim Gasior, and South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame recipients - Pete Minger, Eric Knight, Billy Rolle, Jimmy Crawford, Don Mosely and Ray Ray. Her many Miami appearances include the former Playboy Club, Tobacco Road, the Mutiny, Regine’s, the Gingerman, Jazid, Caribbean Marketplace, Casablanca on the Bay and the Betsy Hotel. Carole Ann Taylor will be accompanied by The Jim Gasior Quartet!
