The Resurrection of the Lord! 6:30 am - Sunrise Worship in the Courtyard with communion 9:00 and 11:00 am (Prelude music at 8:50 am and 10:50 am) - Worship at 9 and 11 will feature our Chancel Choir with Brass under direction of Dr. Muckenfuss. A festive brass prelude will begin 10 minutes prior to the hour. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and Dr. Hathaway’s sermon “Don’t Be Afraid… and Go” from Matthew 28:1-10. No 9:30 programs; classes resume the 23rd. Tenebrae (Latin for “shadows”) is a service of readings and extinguishing of lights, William L. Hathaway, Pastor to mark the darkness in which Easter will come. The Christ candle will be carried out Heather G. Shortlidge, Associate Pastor of the sanctuary at the end of the service.
