Suparna Airlines Suparna Airlines Suparna Airlines, known in Chinese as Jinpeng (Chinese: 金 鹏 航 空 ; pinyin: Suparna Airlines Jīnpéng Hángkōng), is an airline based in China. It was formerly known as Yangtze River Express and Yangtze River Airlines after launching passenger services. The airline took over the entire cargo operations of Hainan Airlines, China Xinhua Airlines, Chang An Airlines and Shanxi Airlines, all former logo members of the Hainan Air Group. In 2006, it divested 49% of its shareholdings to a consortium of companies including China Airlines, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation, Wan Hai Lines and China Container Express Lines. China Airlines became the largest foreign shareholder with a 25% stake. The airline rebranded as Suparna Airlines on 7 July 2017.[3] Destinations Cargo Suparna Airlines has applied for permission to serve Novosibirsk in Russia, Dallas–Fort Worth and Los Angeles in USA from summer 2009, pending CAAC approval, they also serve some domestic and Asian routes. From 2010 a Shanghai, Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Prague, Luxembourg, Shanghai, Schiphol Airport round trip route has been operated. As of 2014 there is also a Frankfurt Hahn, Tianjin Binhai International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport connection. Passenger On 15 December 2015 Suparna Airlines launched domestic passenger flights under revised name Yangtze River Airlines, from Shanghai-Pudong Airport to Guyang, Sanya and Zhuhai using a single Boeing 737-800. Frontier Politics And Sino-Soviet Relations: A Study Of Northwestern Xinjiang, 1949-1963 Abstract This is an ethnopolitical and diplomatic study of the Three Districts, or the former East Turkestan Republic, in China’s northwest frontier in the 1950s and 1960s. It describes how this Muslim borderland between Central Asia and China became today’s Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture under the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The Three Districts had been in the Soviet sphere of influence since the 1930s and remained so even after the Chinese Communist takeover in October 1949. After the Sino- Soviet split in the late 1950s, Beijing transformed a fragile suzerainty into full sovereignty over this region: the transitional population in Xinjiang was demarcated, border defenses were established, and Soviet consulates were forced to withdraw. As a result, the Three Districts changed from a Soviet frontier to a Chinese one, and Xinjiang’s outward focus moved from Soviet Central Asia to China proper. The largely peaceful integration of Xinjiang into PRC China stands in stark contrast to what occurred in Outer Mongolia and Tibet.

The dramatic changes that took place in China’s airline industry in the past 20 years, from a period of strict regulation and control to being relatively uncontrolled and loosely supervised, resulted in chaotic and unexpected outcomes. Those within the industry had two opposing attitudes towards these changes: some applauded them and called for further reforms, while others resisted and demanded a return to regulation.
