2019 ISOE ATC Benchmarking Exchange for Radiation Protection , November 20-22, 2019

First Announcement

Organization and Host The 2019 ISOE ATC Benchmarking Exchange for Radiation Protection will be held from November 20 to 22, 2019 in Ehime, Japan. The benchmarking is organized and hosted by the ISOE Asian Technical Center (ATC) and Nuclear Safety Research Association (NSRA).

Background and Objectives The benchmarking will provide a forum and site visit for radiation protection professionals from the nuclear industry and regulatory authorities to exchange practical information and experience on occupational exposure issues in nuclear power plants to improve radiological protection.

Language The working language of the benchmarking will be Japanese and Korean. (Japanese/Korean consecutive interpretation will be provided for participants)

Participants The benchmarking is open to all radiation protection professionals and all those concerned with occupational radiological protection, including NPP owners and operators, NPP designers, industry associations, regulatory authorities and their technical support organizations, research organizations.

Registration fee No registration fee is charged.

Dates and Location The benchmarking will be held from November 20 to 22, 2019 at Century Hotel Ito in Yawatahama City, Ehime, Japan. The first day of the benchmarking will start at 13:00, and the welcome reception will be held in the evening. A site visit to Nuclear Power Plant of Electric Power Company is scheduled on November 21, 2019, and site visits to Yawatahama city general hospital and Nuclear Maintenance and Training Center of Shikoku EPC are scheduled on November 22, 2019.
