S.- rate employee quarters will be taken early next week at the quarterly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Canal Com- pany. The Board sessions are scheduled to open Monday in Washington and Gover- nor Seybold left by plane this week to attend the meeting. Before his de- parture, the Governor said that he expects to make an announcement as soon as the board reaches a decision. For the employees, the rent question will be the most important item on the agenda of the Board meeting, since nothing of its nature has aroused such widespread interest and debate in the Canal Zone in many years.
