Who could have imagined how the world would change and the lasting impact it would have on all of us. This year marks the University’s 150th anniversary and on behalf of Lock Haven University and the Lock Haven University Foundation (LHUF), we want to thank you for your generous support. Each year, but especially this year, our collective goal is to work with LHU alumni, donors, parents, friends, and corporate partners to elevate the University and help our students with the means to receive an affordable, quality education. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020, more than $1.1 million in private gifts were secured while our endowment and other Dr. Robert Pignatello, President assets generated an additional $2.7 million in revenue. In total, the Lock Haven University Foundation was able to provide more than 550 students with nearly $700,000 in scholarship support. You are the reason we are able to fulfill our mission. LHUF’s assets totaled just over $39 million dollars, and our endowment surpassed $12 million. The endowment is earmarked for scholarships for the longevity of the institution so that we can provide both our current and future students with the necessary funds to assist with their financial commitment to their education. Each dollar raised directly impacts the programs and scholarships that our students need to receive an affordable, quality education. None of this would be possible without your continued support and dedication to LHU. Thank you! Your support makes a difference! Thank you for your dedication to Lock Haven University and the Lock Haven University Foundation. We hope you will continue to support the future of our institution and students for years to come. By his senior year, he was a two-time Most Improved Wrestler winner with a full scholarship. He won 34 matches as a senior, was awarded Most Inspirational Wrestler and ranked as high as third in the country, en route to a trip to Nationals. These were some of the best experiences of his life. Matt and his wife, Maureen, are now avid supporters of the LHU wrestling program. Not only do they provide fi nancial support, but they do it in a unique way that enables them to maximize the impact of their gifts.
