The research was conducted through the consideration of the impact factors that lead to 14 flooding of the territory. The moisture regime is analyzed, as well as the change in the air temperatureOF of the considered basin. It is 15 established that the flood in several areas of the Altai Republic located in the Katun River basin was caused by the cumulative 16 effect of the natural and anthropogenic factors, which created the emergency situation, with the dominating natural one—the 17 record high precipitation for the entire period of instrumental monitoring. The general reason for such prolonged and intense 18 precipitation was the extensive stationary cyclone, which spread to most of the Altai Mountains due to the blocking role of the 19 high-level anticyclone spread from the southeast to the western and central parts ofPRO Russia in the last third of May–the first third of 20 June 2014. We analysed human skeletal re- Nomads mains from barrows in the Manzherok region of the Altai Republic, Russian Federation. The analysis was based Radiocarbon dating on 160 measurements of 87Sr/86Sr from Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-ICP- Iron Age MS) and Thermal Ionisation Mass Spectrometry (TIMS), in tandem with environmental samples and comparative Pazyryk culture Altai, Russia animal material. The combined dating evidence and strontium isotopic values indicate that after the 5th century BC, re- sidential mobility amongst Altaic nomads is rising, especially long-distance female mobility, leading to contact acquisition with extrinsic territories of Central Asia.

Chromosome numbers (2n) in 16 invasive plant species from the families Amaranthaceae, Asteraceae, Caryophyllaceae, Lamiaceae, Onagraceae and Poaceae are reported on the material from the Altai Republic for the first time. Among them, chromosome complements were first examined in Russia for Chaiturus marrubiastrum (L.) Ehrh. ex Reichenb. (2n = 24) and Oenothera villosa Thunb. (2n = 14). Five species: Amaranthus lividus L. (2n = 34), Elisanthe noctiflora (L.) Rupr. (2n = 24), Galeopsis speciosa Mill. (2n = 16), Oenothera biennis L. (2n = 14) and Bromus japonicus Thunb. (2n = 14), were studied first from Siberia. The most part of the species studied are diploids. The general distribution and the history of floristic findings of these species in the Altai Republic are given. The data on chromosome numbers published earlier on the material from Russia are cited. Числа хромосом инвазионных видов во флоре Республики Алтай: сообщение 2 М. Н. Ломоносова, Е. Ю. Зыкова, Т. В.
