You leave the airport and merge to A8 highway (Autobahn) in the direction of (München). Follow the highway in this direction until you see the Exit (Ausfahrt) . You will merge to the state road (Bundesstrasse) B313 in the direction of Nürtingen. After passing the city sign of Nürtingen you will need to take the second turn right towards the train station/hospital. Follow the road until the next possible right turn and take it. Hohenneuffen Castle,

Visible from afar, the 743-metre-high rocky massif of Hohenneuffen towers above the Alb escarpment. The ruin of Hohenneuffen Castle – the largest complex of its kind on the Swabian Alb, has its origins in the High . The mountain castle built before 1140 was the seat of the Lords of Neuffen before passing into the possession of the Counts of Württemberg in 1301. In the 16th century, Hohenneuffen was turned into a fortress: The were built in accordance with contemporary military technology.
