UEFA EURO 2008™: Team and Referee Accommodation, Headquarter Hotels Date: 18 December 2007 Media Release – 63 UEFA EURO 2008™: Team and referee accommodation, headquarter hotels Nyon – By mid-December, the teams that have qualified for UEFA EURO 2008™ and which had selected a hotel from the list proposed by Euro 2008 SA, had to confirm their choice. The list below shows the team accommodation and training grounds that have already been confirmed by the associations. Where two or more teams had initially chosen the same hotel, priority was given to the team that confirmed its choice first. Team hotels listed in the catalogue that were not chosen by any of the teams might be offered to the organiser’s other client groups (e.g. sponsors, media). Official Team transfer hotels Each team whose hotel is more than 120km away from the match venue must arrive at their transfer hotel no later than 24 hours before kick-off. From 26 June, those still involved in the tournament will move to the Renaissance Penta hotel in Vienna. For the different target groups (teams, referees, organiser’s guests, partners, media and staff,) some 22,000 rooms in 440 hotels have been booked, corresponding to about 140,000 nights. Fan accommodation In principle, the organisers are not arranging any accommodation for the fans. However, should rooms from the quotas reserved for other target groups become vacant, these will be put on offer on aa-euro2008.com from January. The official fans’ website, www.fanguide2008.net, has numerous links regarding accommodation possibilities in the host cities.
