General Information
The University of Bedfordshire operates across 4 campus locations: Bedfordshire: Luton and Bedford; Buckinghamshire: Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. DSA charges apply to DSA provision at the four campus locations.
Students studying at our partner Colleges are supported locally by the partner College and not by the University of Bedfordshire. Charges will differ by college and assessors should contact the College directly to confirm support services available and related charges. A list of our partner Colleges can be found at: http://www.beds.ac.uk/partners-and-community/colleges.
Students studying distance learning courses via the University of Bedfordshire will need to set up local support arrangements.
Sign Language Interpreters / Communication Support Workers We do not recruit any in-house SLIs / CSWs and only use external companies such as Clarion or Terptree. Costs for these services will need to be investigated with the Health and Wellbeing Advisers on request

We request that assessors use Randstad and Clearlinks as the two quote providers for non medical help support.
Our reasons for requesting this are: • We want to ensure that our students have the best possible support experience • The use of two known providers makes the logistics of communication and monitoring of support more effective • These providers have good staff coverage in Bedford and Luton and can recruit for Milton Keynes and Aylesbury.
For information purposes the rates for Randstad are laid out in table against each descriptor
