Field Size : 130 Participants

Purse: The final championship purse will be announced at the start of the first round of the 98th Illinois PGA Professional Championship (PPC) at Medinah Country Club. The top nine finishers in the 98th Illinois PGA Professional Championship will qualify for the 54th PGA Professional Championship, which will be contested at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida on April 25-28, 2021. The low 20 scorers in the PGA Professional Championship will advance to the 103rd PGA Championship at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina.

Method of Play: The Illinois PGA Championship is a 54-hole stroke-play event. Following 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to players with the low 60 scores plus ties. In the event of a tie for the Championship, there will be a three-hole, total stroke playoff. If the contestants remain tied after three (3) holes, the playoff will continue on a sudden death basis.

Eligibility: Eligibly-employed Class A PGA Member in good standing at the time of entry and their Section’s entry deadline date (unless special exception criteria met). The PGA of America headquarters’ records must reflect this status at time of entry and Section’s entry deadline date (unless special exception criteria met).
