VICKERS, :B.A., B.D., Ph.D., is the author of Thomas Coke: Apostle of Methodism (Abingdon Press, 1969). Before his recent retire ment he was Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies at the College of Educa tion, Bogner Regis, England. He is also the author of a number of studies on the history of Methodism including a reGent biographical booklet, Charles Wesley (Fou~dery Press, 1990), Dr. Vickers also serves on the Executive Committee of the Wesley Historical Soci~ty. J. STEVEN O'MALLEY, A.B., B.D., Ph.D., is John T. Seamands Pro fessor of Wesleyan Holiness History at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY. He is the author of Pilgrimage of Faith: The Legacy of the Otterbeins (The Scarecrow Press, 1973):He is also the author of other studies on the history of Pietism and United Methodism. DANA L. ROBERT, M.A., Ph.D., is Associate Professor of International Mission at the Boston Uni.versity School of Theology. Her teaching and research interests include missjology, the history of American evangelicalism, and women's studies . .Dr. Robert serves on the Editorial Boar.cl of the International Bull~tin ofMissionary Research and has served as Secretary of the Association of Professors of Mission.
