This award aims to recognise either an individual or a business who has contributed over many years to both business and the community as a whole. The 2015 Archibald Prize Exhibition in Ballarat The Archibald Prize is regarded as the most important portraiture prize in Australia. Ballarat will be the exclusive interstate venue for the Prize exhibition and anticipates visitors from across , and . The Gallery expects that 45,000 visitors will visit the exhibition between 2 October and 15 November 2015. The Gallery will be open every day from 10am till 5pm and offer extended trading hours with bar service on Tuesday & Friday evenings. The Gallery will present a series of events to complement the Archibald. There will be live musical concerts and cabarets on each weekend during the Archibald Prize season.
