In 1916 a group of the city’s noble elite conspired to kill the one man who they felt threatened the stability of an already war-torn Russian Empire. Grigory Rasputin. His control over the decisions of the family and the Russian ruler himself put him in a potentially manipulative position and posed a very real threat to their power. Consequently, Rasputin was murdered at the Yusupov Palace on the night of December 16-17 1916, and his death proved to be an almost greater mystery than his life had been.     Category of property Kazan Kremlin (Russian Federation) In terms of the categories of cultural property set out in Article 1 of the 1972 World Heritage Convention, this is a group of buildings. No 980 History and Description History The first human occupation in the Kazan area goes back to Identification the 7th and 8th millennia BCE; there are traces of the Bronze Age (2nd to 1st millennia, late Kazan area settlement), early Nomination Historical and Architectural Complex of Iron Age (8th to 6th centuries BCE, Ananin culture), and the Kazan Kremlin early medieval period (4th–5th centuries CE, Azelin culture). From the 10th to 13th centuries Kazan was a pre-Mongol Location Republic of Tatarstan, City of Kazan Bulgar town. Today’s Kremlin hill consisted then of a fortified trading settlement surrounded by moats, State Party Russian Federation embankments, and a stockade. A stone fortress was built in the 12th century and the town developed as an outpost on the Date 29 June 1999 northern border of Volga Bulgaria. The so-called Old Town extended eastward, on the site of the former Kazan Monastery of Our Lady. The fortress was demolished on the instructions of the Mongols in the 13th century. A citadel was then built as the seat of the Prince of Kazan, including the town’s administrative and religious institutions.     Tamara Rojo Artistic Director of the English National Ballet Tamara began dancing in Madrid at the Víctor Ullate School, where she took part in an extensive repertoire of classical roles. She won a Gold Medal at the Paris International Dance Competition and the Special Jury Prize unanimously. Galina Samsova asked her to join the Scottish Ballet and she later received a personal invitation from Derek Deane to join the English National Ballet, where she became director after six months. She danced the whole range of leading roles with the company, including Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) and Clara (The Nutcracker), which Derek Deane created expressly for her. Tamara joined The Royal Ballet as Principal Dancer at the invitation of Sir Anthony Dowell. She is also a regular guest of the Mariinsky Ballet, La Scala Ballet, Tokyo Ballet, New National Theatre, Tokyo, the Cuban National Ballet, the National Ballet of China, the Lithuanian National Ballet, the Mikhailovsky Ballet, the Royal Swedish Ballet and the Finnish National Ballet. She has also performed at the prestigious World Ballet Festival in Tokyo and at galas all over the world. In 2010 she was recognised for her artistic excellence with the Laurence Olivier Award for the Best New Dance Production with Goldberg: the Brandstrup - Rojo Project. She has been awarded the Prince of Asturias Prize, the Gold Medal for Fine Arts and the Encomienda de Numero de Isabel la Catolica. The aim of the article is to provide the reader some materials on developing of ballet in Russia, its influence on the development of ballet schools in the world and its leading role in the world ballet art. The authors characterize the main periods of history of Russian ballet and its famous representatives. Key words: Russian ballet, choreographers, dancers, classical ballet, ballet techniques. 1. Introduction. Russian ballet is a form of ballet characteristic of or originating from Russia. In the early 19th century, the theatres were opened up to anyone who could afford a ticket. There was a seating section called a rayok, or «paradise gallery», which consisted of simple wooden benches. This allowed non- wealthy people access to the ballet, because tickets in this section were inexpensive. It is considered one of the most rigorous dance schools and it came to Russia from France. The specific cultural traits of this country allowed to this technique to evolve very fast reach his most perfect state of beauty and performing [4; 22]. II.
