Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Wins Two Trophies at 2019 Sport Auto Award
Zurich – The Corvette Z06 has once again won a pair of Sport Auto Award trophies. In this year’s poll of the German magazine’s readers, the Z06 finished well ahead of its second- and third-placed rivals in each category.
In the category “Convertibles/Roadsters under 150,000 Euros”, the Corvette Z06 Convertible won 52.2% of the vote (against the Jaguar F-Type SVR’s 29% and the Maserati GranCabrio’s 15.3%), while in the category “Coupes under 150,000 Euros”, the Corvette Z06 Coupe gained 38.7% (ahead of the Jaguar F-Type SVR Coupe’s 21.9% and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye’s 15.5%).

This is the 27th time readers of German sports car magazine Sport Auto have chosen their cars of the year. Voting in 18 production-car and 10 tuning categories, they picked their personal favorites from a total of 238 candidates (162 production models and 76 tuned models). This year, some 12,352 Sport Auto readers took part in the poll.
