Car Craft Summer Nationals presented by Holley/MSD returns to Bowling Green, Kentucky for America’s premier gathering of performance vehicles. The original action-packed street machine show returns – Car Craft Summer Nationals – July 20-21 2018, at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

What is there to do at Car Craft Summer Nationals? All registered participants can take part in the show ‘n’ shine, autocross, and drag racing fun runs at no additional charge. Dyno runs are available for $60 for two runs. Real Street eliminator returns with new competitions. Spectators and participants alike can enjoy drift exhibitions, a burnout contest, onstage activities and show, and an extensive sponsor midway. Stick around on Saturday night to witness the Midnight Drags onsite at Beech Bend. Your spectator or participant ticket is good for spectator viewing of the Midnight Drags.

How do I register to race in the drags or autocross? All registered participants may race in the drag strip fun runs and autocross at no additional charge. Only the Midnight Drags competition format requires a separate entry fee.

How Do I Attend As a Spectator? Spectator tickets are available at the gate. All tickets include Midnight Drags spectator access. $10 Friday $15 Saturday $20 – two day ticket

What are the show hours? Friday, July 21: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Midnight Drags from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) Saturday, July 22: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Midnight Drags from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.)

What Do I Get If I Register My Car? Registrations include a entry for vehicle, driver, one passenger and any children under 12 for all 3 days., a goodie bag stuffed with cool giveaway items and freebies from Car Craft and our sponsors! Any additional adult passengers will be required to purchase a spectator ticket upon entry. As a participant, you will be able to run the Autocross and Gear Vendors Daily Drag Racing fun runs. Please note that competitive drag racers must register separately for the Midnight Drags.

If I Pre-Register Online, How Do I Get My Credentials? Registration is located a few miles from Beech Bend at: Sloan Center at Holiday Inn – University Plaza Bowling Green 1021 Wilkinson Trace Bowling Green KY, 42103 All participants must stop at registration and pick up credentials. You do not need to produce the confirmation letter at registration, but you will have to have your valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the vehicle’s valid government issued registration. Important note: Only the listed registrant may pick up the credentials.

How do I register to Race in the Car Craft Midnight Drags? Racers who wish to participate in the expanded Gear Vendors Midnight Drags may register on the Car Craft Summer Nationals Registration page here. Please review the updated rules for this year. Classes for small and large tire formats have been added this year. The small tire class will run a ¼ mile format. The big class will run 1/8th mile, no time format. This year, a midnight drags entry permits full test and tune and show access at both days of the Car Craft Summer Nationals.

If I register for Car Craft Midnight Drags, can I run in the daily test and tune at the Car Craft Summer Nationals? Yes, the Midnight Drags registration permits access to the drag strip during the Car Craft Summer Nationals.

If I Race in the Car Craft Midnight Drags, do I need to pick up credentials at offsite registration? Yes, unlike previous year, all Midnight Drags Participants will need to stop at off-site registration. This year, a Midnight Drags registration grants access to all Car Craft Summer Nationals show activities including unlimited daily test and tune. If you wish to also participate in daily drag racing or othe CCSN activities, then you must register at offsite registration.

What Car Show Awards will be given? The Car Craft Editors will select: Best Chevrolet, Best Ford, Best Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac, Best AMC, Best Innovation, Best Pro Touring, Best Pro Street, Best Mopar, Top Gun, Best Restored, Best Tri-five, Best Corvette, Best Mustang, Best Camaro, Best Rod (Pre-1964) Best Big Car, Best Engine, best Classic Truck, Best Modern Truck, and 20 Award of Excellence picks. All sponsors will select a Sponsor’s pick award. An overall Best of Show will be awarded by the Car Craft editors.

How do I register for Real Street Eliminator? You can indicate participation in RSE on your signup form. Final RSE class rules will be released on March 12. The signup fee for RSE is $30.

Can I rent a golf cart at the show? Yes, a limited number of carts are available for rent for the weekend. Please contact Saylor’s Golf Carts at 270-563-4183 or www.saylorsgolfcarts.com for information on renting a cart for the show weekend. Only carts rented from Saylor’s will be permitted on show grounds.

Can I camp at Beech Bend over the weekend? Yes, Beech Bend has onsite campgrounds available – please see this link for information: https://www.beechbend.com/schedule&rates.htm Please note that slots are first-come, first served, and no advance reservations may be made for space.

What Vehicles Are Welcome On The Car Craft Summer Nationals? Any car or truck owner who wants to join the event is welcome! Any year, make or model vehicle accepted. Please, NO rental cars due to insurance requirements.

I can no longer attend, how do I request a refund? Sorry to hear that, please email [email protected]. Please note that no refunds will be issued after June 15.

Do I need a helmet to participate in the Autocross or Drag racing? Helmets are required for autocross. Helmet must be Snell M or SA2010 or newer rated. Cars 13.99 or quicker on the drag strip require a helmet.

Can I Drop my Trailer and unload my car for the show? Yes, we have secured a trailer drop area on the outskirts of the property, you may leave your trailer in the designated area, but must drive your car into the show. Only registered racers competing in the Car Craft Midnight Drags will be permitted to park trailers in the pit area near the drag strip.

Can I reserve a space by roping an area in the Car Show? No roping will be permitted inside the venue. All roped areas will be cleared by show security.

Can I Bring My Pet Or Animal to The Car Craft Summer Nationals? No pets are allowed in the Beech Bend Raceway facilities.
