Main Considerations

Background:

As agreed at the Continuous Improvement Committee on 11 September 2007, a booklet has been produced containing a wide range of statistical information on Aberdeen. The information has been drawn from published sources. The key advantage of the booklet is that it presents key facts about Aberdeen (and comparable Council areas) in a single publication in a simple and accessible format. It is hoped that the booklet will assist Elected Members and Senior Officers in meetings with key stakeholders.

Proposal:

It is proposed that the booklet be distributed to all Elected Members, Senior Officers, MPs and MSPs. It is also proposed that the booklet be published on the Aberdeen City Council website.
