The information has been drawn from published sources. The key advantage of the booklet is that it presents key facts about Aberdeen (and comparable Council areas) in a single publication in a simple and accessible format. It is hoped that the booklet will assist Elected Members and Senior Officers in meetings with key stakeholders. Proposal: It is proposed that the booklet be distributed to all Elected Members, Senior Officers, MPs and MSPs. It is also proposed that the booklet be published on the Aberdeen City Council website. 3 Key Facts Aberdeen 2 22/10/07 14:39 Page 1 Key Facts Aberdeen 2 22/10/07 14:39 Page 3 Behind the Granite A b e r d e e n K e y F a c t s Page 3 Behind the Granite A b e r d e e n K e y F a c t s Page 4 INTRODUCTION Behind the Granite contains basic statistical information COUNCIL FINANCE & about Aberdeen.
