Coralua wants to create a relaxed atmosphere where all the participants, singers, conductors and staff have fun during the whole choral week, an intensive week where we all learn, exchange and enjoy together communicating through our common language of music.
Coralua puts a special effort to welcome singers from all around the world and emphasises the mixture of different cultures. From our staff to the participants, via our invited conductors, the international experience is ensured!
Activities - Coralua 2020
Coralua 2020 has three main activities for all participants attending to the festival:
● Choral workshops - choir seminars in Trondheim ● Singing Tour to the traditional Norwegian village of Oppdal and Røros, from the UNESCO World Heritage List ● Concerts in Trondheim, Oppdal and Røros
Schedule - Coralua 2020
The festival starts Saturday 4th of July 2020 at 9:30am in Trondheim, Norway, and ends on Saturday 11th of July 2020 at 9:00am after breakfast in Røros.

SINGING TOUR - Oppdal and Røros
Discover two of the most wonderful Norwegian villages, Oppdal and Røros, and sing or listen to the concerts that Coralua arranges for you in both places. A fantastic journey to Oppdal where you will enjoy different activities such as visit the typical old norwegian houses, and perform at the beautiful wooden church of Oppdal. Then, the World Heritage Norwegian village of Røros will be waiting for you: visit and perform at the unique Røros church, renowned by its excellent acoustics. Do not miss it!

Registration
Register to Coralua 2020 in two steps:
1. Submit the choir’s application at http://www.coralua.com/registration/
2. Your application will be reviewed and you will get an estimate from us for your group. The first payment deadline will be on 31st of March 2020.
Important notes:
● The number of participants to the workshops is limited.
● All applications are reviewed by order of receipt. It is recommended to apply for participation as early as possible.
● The registration of a choir is confirmed as soon as the first payment is received.
● The registration deadline is strictly 31st of March 2020.

Accommodation in Trondheim
All the participants at Coralua are accommodated in the same hotel. The hotel of the festival is in the centre of Trondheim, a very convenient location to explore the city and where the workshops will take place there.
The price “Accommodation in Trondheim” includes:
● 5 nights: from Friday 3rd to Tuesday 7th July 2020 (both included) ● 5 breakfast: Saturday 4th to Wednesday 8th July 2020

Singing tour: Oppdal and Røros The experience for the Singing Tour has been enhanced for 2020! We will spend 1 night in Oppdal, Norwegian traditional village, and 2 nights in Røros, renowned village from the World Heritage List! The price includes all the following:
● Accommodation in the room type desired and breakfast: ○ 1 night in Oppdal: Wednesday 8th July 2020 ○ 2 nights in Røros: Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July 2020
● Meals included: ○ Wednesday 8th: lunch and dinner in Oppdal ○ Thursday 9th: lunch and dinner in Røros ○ Friday 10th: lunch and dinner in Røros
● Two performances of the choir’s own repertoire: ○ Oppdal kulturhus on Wednesday 8th ○ Røros church on Friday 10th

Cultural Visits
The cultural visits in Trondheim will be on Monday 6th in the morning and the price includes:
○ Entrance to the National Music Museum ○ Guided tour to the National Music Museum ○ Walk into the Botanical Garden ○ Transportation to / from the Museum from / to hotel

The Festival offers 2 different options of payment:
Option 1: to guarantee your participation and book your seat in advance
● First payment (50 % of the total amount): as soon as your participation is approved by the Festival ● Second payment (50 % of the total amount): before 31st of March 2020
Option 2: to guarantee your participation and book your seat at once ● Unique payment (100 % of the total amount): before 31st of March 2020

● All the payments to the organizers have to be done in Norwegian Kroner (NOK).
