Cherry Gerente Ogar was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening head injuries, allegedly inflicted by her husband Antony Ogar, on Monday, July 26. She passed away last Wednesday, July 28. Mr Ogar, 58, was charged with murder — relating to injuries occurring between July 24 and 27 — last Thursday, July 29. He was remanded in custody and will appear in court in February. At his initial court hearing, Mr Ogar claimed Ms Gerente Ogar fell backwards and hit her head on the floor after she attacked him whilst drunk.
