This depends on the right type of education. The underlying fact is that the paradigm of traditional education is ineffective to a certain extent because it is based on an intrinsic mistrust of the human personality. What is needed is a holistic education that respects students’ needs for their development as complete, rational and moral human beings. The premise of the HELP Matriculation Centre (HMC) Foundation in Arts and Foundation in Science programmes is to provide conditions for students to free their minds in order to cultivate a meaningful human intelligence or “creative intelligence”. The programmes further pay tribute to students by helping them recognise the psychological value of their learning experiences to help build self-confidence, self-respect, creative intelligence and moral courage. An added flexibility of the foundation programmes is that students have a choice of pursuing degree studies in business, economics, psychology, mass communication and humanities with the Foundation in Arts programme; or engineering, medicine, pharmacy and other science disciplines with the Foundation in Science programme. The setting up of the Centre for Personal Development and Leadership will further bolster our aim of creating principled and creative graduates.

APPLICATIONS REQUIREMENTS • Application must be made online thru MARA Portal via: www.mara.gov.my starting 13th April 2020 (Monday) 10.00am until 4th May 2020 (Monday) 12.00pm. • Applicant must meet the general requirements and academic requirements. • If false information given by the applicant, MARA reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the loan offer.
