SPRUNG We are pleased to welcome you to Long Beach and the 16th annual AKC National Obedience Invitational (NOI). Over the weekend, 117 dog and handler teams – the largest entry total we’ve ever had in Long Beach – will impress you with their precision, concentration and skill as they vie to be crowned our next National Obedience Champion. As Long Beach hands off competition hosting duties to Orlando after this year, we thank Mayor Bob Foster and the entire City for the hospitality they’ve shown our Obedience competitors over the past five years. We look forward to returning soon! Thousands of dogs and handlers have competed throughout the year in order to qualify for this event, but only the most obedient dogs in the country are here.
