Mexicana MRO Services Joins Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association Specialized maintenance services provider becomes ALTA’s newest affiliate member Miami, Florida (January 24, 2017) – Mexicana MRO Services, a specialized maintenance services provider based in Mexico City, has joined the Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association’s (ALTA) growing affiliate membership. Mexicana MRO is the first company providing exclusively MRO services to join ALTA’s membership. ALTA’s affiliate members are airline-related organizations that work collaboratively with the association on aviation industry initiatives throughout the Latin America and Caribbean region. “We are pleased to welcome Mexicana MRO Services and their expertise in maintenance services to ALTA,” said ALTA’s Executive Director Eduardo Iglesias. “We look forward to Mexicana MRO working in collaboration with our membership as together we continue to drive and grow air transport’s social and economic impact throughout the region and beyond.” “It is a great honor to be a member of ALTA,” said MRO Services Chief Executive Officer Marcos Rosaes. “We have participated in various events of this important association and I am convinced that as part of ALTA we will have many new business opportunities.” Located at Mexico City International Airport, Mexicana MRO Services offers specialized maintenance services to national and international airlines and companies operating major aircraft types, including Boeing, Airbus, Fokker and Bombardier. Services include heavy maintenance, line maintenance, painting, components repair, engineering, and training, among other services within the global aviation industry. Mexicana MRO Services holds 19 different certifications from all over the world, including: FAA, EASA, DGAC (Mexico), ANAC (Argentina), ANAC (Brazil), DGAC (Bolivia), DGAC (Chile), INAC (Venezuela), UAEAC (Colombia), DGAC (Ecuador), AAC (El Salvador), IACC (Cuba), AAC (Panama), among others.
