World Silver Medalist was a winner in his 70 kg/154 pounds match against 's Franklin Maren Castillo by a score of 2-1. Green was called for a caution to give the first point to Castillo, but rebounded with a first-period step out, and then scored after Castillo was unable to score on an activity clock.

Both Burroughs and Green are set to wrestle for a spot on Team USA for the 2018 World Championships at the Bob Devaney Sports Center at Lincoln on June 9. The event starts at 6 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at Huskers.com/tickets.
