BILL ZADICK U.S. National Men’s Freestyle Head Coach

Bill Zadick is wrapping up his second year as the U.S. Men’s Freestyle Coach, taking over for Bruce Burnett after the 2016 Olympics. So far, he boasts three World champions in Logan Stieber, who won the World Championships in December in Budapest, Hungary, and 2017 World champions Jordan Burroughs and Kyle Snyder, who won in , , last summer. Additionally, Zadick led the U.S. to its first men’s freestyle World Team title since 1995, defeating powerhouse by one point. In Rio, he helped coach Snyder to an Olympic gold and J’den Cox to an Olympic bronze as Assistant National Coach. Zadick has been a part of the U.S. coaching staff since 2009, when he started as Resident Coordinator and Assistant National Coach. He has since worked his way up the coaching ranks and is now head coach of some of the best freestyle athletes in the world. Zadick competed on the 2001 and 2006 World Teams, winning a World title in 2006. He was also an NCAA Division I champion for Iowa in 1996.

TERVEL DLAGNEV Dlagnev is starting his third year as an assistant coach at . Since taking a position with the Buckeyes, he has helped lead the squad to a pair of NCAA runner-up team finishes and a 2017 Big Ten team title.

Additionally, Dlagnev has coached 14 All- in just his two seasons on staff. He also serves as a personal coach for two-time World champion and 2016 Olympic champion Kyle Snyder, who was a three-time NCAA champion for Ohio State.

As an athlete, Dlagnev was a two-time Olympian, representing the U.S. in the 2012 Games in and the 2016 Games in . In both Olympic appearances, Dlagnev finished fifth. He was a four-time World Team member, winning World bronze medals in 2009 and 2014 and taking fifth in 2011 and 2013. In 2008, Dlagnev was a University World champion.

TERRY STEINER U.S. National Women’s Freestyle Head Coach Terry Steiner was named USA Wrestling’s National Women’s Coach in 2002, becoming the first and only to hold the position. In 2004, Steiner led the first U.S. Women’s Freestyle Olympic Team in history to one silver and one bronze medal. Steiner and the U.S. added bronze medals at the 2008 Games and the 2012 London Games. He coached Helen Maroulis to the first Olympic gold medal in U.S. women’s freestyle history in 2016. In 2003, all seven women’s freestylers won World medals at the World Championships in and took home a second-place team finish on tiebreaker after tying powerhouse for first. Under his guidance, U.S. women boasts 43 World medals, including 11 golds, 10 silvers and 22 bronzes. Previously, Steiner had worked as an assistant coach at and Oregon State.

COLEMAN SCOTT Scott is entering his fourth year at the helm of the University of North Carolina wrestling program. So far in his coaching career, Scott has led three Tar Heels to All-American status and four to ACC Championships. Familiar with coaching at the World level, this is Scott’s second- straight appearance as a Senior World level coach for the USA. Last year, Scott was a part of the men’s freestyle coaching staff and helped lead the USA to a World team title, its first since 1995. As an athlete, Scott, originally from Waynesburg, Pa., represented the U.S. at the 2012 Olympic Games is London, where he garnered a bronze medal. He also claimed a gold medal at the 2016 Pan American Championships. In college, Scott was a four-time All- American for Oklahoma State and a 2008 NCAA champion. After graduating, Scott served on Oklahoma State’s coaching staff for two years, where he coached four NCAA champions, 12 All- Americans and 14 conference champions.

TROY STEINER Troy Steiner is making his fourth trip to the World Championships as a women’s freestyle coach, serving on coaching staffs in 2003, 2007 and 2015. He also coached the Junior men’s freestyle World Team in 2003. Hailing from Bismarck, N.D., Steiner is entering his second season and third year as the head coach of the newly resurrected Fresno State wrestling program. Last year was the Bulldogs first year of competition, and Steiner led them to four two wins and had two NCAA qualifiers. Prior to his stint at Fresno State, Steiner made several stops, coaching at Oregon State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota, where he had a part in helping 22 All-Americans, 10 Big Ten champions, seven Pac-12 Championship teams and six NCAA champions. He also coached one Junior World champion. Steiner also serves as a personal coach to 2018 men’s freestyle World Team member Joe Colon, who will wrestle at 61 kg in Budapest. During his athletic career, Steiner was a four-time All-American and 1992 NCAA champion for Iowa and went on to be a freestyle National Team member. He won the 1992 World Cup as well as the 1996 Pan American Championships

MATT LINDLAND U.S. National Greco-Roman Head Coach

Matt Lindland has been head of the nation’s elite Greco-Roman athletes since May 2014. Shortly after taking over, he coached Andy Bisek to a World bronze medal in 2014, giving U.S. Greco its first World or since 2009. A year later, Bisek repeated his bronze-winning performance. Prior to being named the U.S. National Greco-Roman Coach, Lindland served as a World Team Coach for the 2013 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. He also served as assistant coach for Clackamas CC and the University of Nebraska. As a competitor, Lindland won silver at the 2000 Olympic Games in , Australia, and followed with a World silver medal in 2001 at a new . He also won gold at the as well as the 1996 World Cup.

ZAC DOMINGUEZ Dominguez is the head coach and founder of the wildly successful MWC Wrestling Academy, based in Paillion. Since starting the club, Dominguez has produced 40 college wrestlers across all divisions, 50 high school state champions and 40 USA Wrestling Freestyle and Greco-Roman All- Americans. Dominguez has several coaching accolades to his name. He was named 2017 Nebraska USA Wrestling Coach of the Year, 2013 USA Wrestling Developmental Coach of the Year, 2007 USA Wrestling Junior Greco- Roman Coach of the Year and 2004 Iowa USA Wrestling Coach of the Year. His trip to Budapest will mark his third trip as a U.S. World coach and first at the Senior level. Dominguez served on the 2015 Junior World staff in Salvador, Brazil, as well as the 2017 Cadet World staff in , Greece. As an athlete, Dominguez trained out of the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Marquette, Mich., and later spent two years as a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. He was a two-time U.S. Open placer. In 2004, Dominguez took fourth at the Olympic Trials and was fifth in the 2005 World Team Trials. Internationally, he collected a pair of top- five finishes.

SPENSER MANGO Mango, originally from St. Louis, Mo., has recently taken on the coaching role after retiring from an outstanding athletic career. He currently serves on the coaching staff for the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program, one of the top Greco clubs in the country, and has coached a number of teams on tour. During his competitive days, Mango held onto the No. 1 spot nationally at 59 kg for eight-straight years as a two-time Olympian, representing the U.S. in the 2008 Games in Beijing and the 2012 Games in London, and a six- time World Team member. He was also a seven-time U.S. Open winner. Internationally, Mango finished as high as fifth in the World on the Senior level, placing in 2013 and 2014. He won a University World title in 2007 and claimed a Junior World bronze in 2006. Mango, who also trained at the Olympic Training Site in Marquette, won five Pan American medals across the Pan Am Championships, Pan Am Games and Pan Am Olympic Qualifier.
