The design of this POWERED Scart lead, takes the power required to switch the TV into RGB mode, from the Amstrad power supply, rather than using the CSYNC or Luma signal, which aren't really at a high enough voltage to work reliably. This allows the Composite Sync (CSYNC) signal to be used for picture sync, which makes the Scart lead much more compatible with modern LCD and LED TV’s, compared with the passive (non powered) type Scart lead. This lead is professionally hand made using high quality materials and workmanship. AMSTRAD CPC 464 INSTRUCTIONS 1. Switch OFF the Amstrad Computer and TV.
2. Connect the Scart lead to the Computer and TV (including the audio lead) as per the details below.
3. Select the Scart A/V channel on the TV, that you have connected to. AMSTRAD CPC 6128 4. Select 4:3 (normal) Aspect ratio on the TV (not 16:9 widescreen).
5. Switch ON the TV, and Computer.
You should now have clear colour picture, with stereo sound!
