Violinist Victoria Nicole Belliard is earning her bachelor’s degree in violin performance at , where she studies with Jason Uyeyama. She has had the privilege to take master classes from Martin Chalifour, Sooah Kim, Scott Yoo, and Ian Swenson. Ms. Belliard has performed with orchestras in such esteemed venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Salzburg Mozarteum, Teatro Verdi, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Ms. Belliard has also served as concertmaster for several orchestras including the La Sierra University Symphony, Youth Symphony, and the Credo Summer Music Festival Orchestra at the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio. Additionally, she served as the assistant concertmaster for the highly acclaimed Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra (CYMO). When Ms. Belliard was eleven years old she debuted as a soloist with the University of Redlands Youth Symphony. Since then, she has been featured as a soloist with several orchestras including the Canadian Union College Orchestra, the New England Youth Ensemble and the State San Bernardino Orchestra.

Victoria enjoys chamber music and has been a part of Junior Chamber Music (JCM), and worked for La Sierra University’s Summer Music Camp as a chamber coach and counselor.

In 2008, Ms. Belliard opened a private studio of violin students and discovered her love of teaching and the power of music. Ms. Belliard believes that economic status should not be a barrier to learning musical instruments and has volunteered locally and internationally as a violin teacher for underserved children. Locally, Victoria volunteered in San Bernardino, through Community Kids Connection and at Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) at HOLA in Los Angeles. Internationally she has taught at music academies in Ecuador and .

In addition to teaching, Victoria is currently the director of chamber music and the office assistant at the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts at La Sierra University. She also enjoys being a member of the honors program at the university.
