The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram by Konstantinos Converted to Adobe Format By the lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram By Konstantinos Converted to Adobe format by www.sacred-magick.com The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram can be performed with either your pointer finger or a wand. 1. Perform the LBRP, making sure to finish the ritual with the Kabbalistic Cross. 2. Extend your arms to form a cross and say, I N R I Then say, Yod Nun Resh Yod (yode-noon-raysh-yode) Trace each of these Hebrew letters in the air, from right to left, as they are pronounced. Visualize them glowing in the same blue light as the pentagrams in the LBRP. 3. Extend your arms into a cross once more and say, The Sign of Osiris Slain 4. Keep your left arm extended and raise your right arm straight up so it is pointing to the ceiling. Your fingers should be together and extended and your palms should face forward. It should look as if your arms are forming the letter "L." Look over your left shoulder and say, L, the Sign of the Mourning of Isis 5. Raise both of your arms, palms forward, to form the letter "v." The angle between them should be about 60 degrees. Tilt your head back and say, V; the Sign of Typhon and Apophis 6. Cross your arms on your chest to form the letter "X," with your palms facing you. Bow your head and say, X, the Sign of Osiris Risen. 7. Now form each letter with your arms as it is pronounced, 1. V X. Then extend your arms to form the Osiris Slain position (cross) and say, LVX (lukes). 8. Keep your arms extended and say, The Light... After a moment, fold your arms on your chest (form an "X" again) and continue, ...of the Cross. 9. Now extend your arms to form a cross again and, as you say the following oration, slowly start to raise them up to the "V" position, while gradually tilting your head back: Virgo, Isis, mighty Mother, Scorpio, Apophis, Destroyer, Sol, Osiris, Slain, and Risen, Isis, Apophis, Osiris. Then strongly vibrate IAO (ee-ah-oh). Your head should be tilted back completely by now and your arms should be in the shape of a "v." Become aware of a glowing white brilliance above you and say, Let the Divine Light descend. 10. Slowly lower your arms to form an "X" on your chest again and, as you do so, feel the Divine Light descending through your body. Let it energize you for a few moments. 11. Walk to the east of your circle and trace the banishing hexagram of Fire in a flaming gold light with your finger or wand, over your still shining blue pentagram. (Note: The hexagrams are not attributed to the placement of the elements in the four quarters, but rather to the zodiacal placement of each element. Therefore, for this ritual, Fire is in the East, Earth is in the South, Air is in the West, and Water is in the North.) Then charge your hexagram the same way you charged the pentagrams in the LBRP, this time vibrating ARARITA (ah-rah-ree-tah) 12. Walk to the south of your circle, tracing a white line in the air like in the LBRP. Trace the banishing hexagram of Earth with your finger or wand and charge this hexagram, vibrating ARARITA (ah-rah-ree-tah) 13. Walk to the west of your circle, tracing the line of white. Trace the banishing hexagram of Air, and charge it as before, vibrating ARARITA (ah-rah-ree-tah) 14. Walk to the north of your circle, still tracing the line of white in the air. Trace the banishing hexagram of Water, and charge it, once again vibrating ARARITA (ah-rah-ree-tah) 15. Complete your circle by carrying the light to the east again. Around you should be your four pentagrams and four hexagrams, with the latter superimposed over the former, blazing in their respective colors of blue and gold at the four quarters of your circle. Contemplate their presence. 16. To close this rite, you can either repeat the Analysis of the Keyword (steps 1-10) or perform the Kabbalistic Cross again. If you are about to perform some type of magic, I recommend you do the Analysis again, as the Divine Light can aid you in your working. In this ritual, instead of vibrating four different names of power to charge the hexagrams, one word, "Ararita," was used. This is an abbreviation for the Hebrew phrase, "One is His beginning. One is His individuality. His permutation is One." The importance of the above two rituals cannot be overstressed. To practice evocations, or any other type of ceremonial magic, you have to come into contact with pure and Divine energies. The banishing rituals consecrate your work area and make it a holy place where these energies can descend upon you. These rituals also have to be performed after your magical work is done, to make sure any forces that were invoked or evoked are effectively banished. .

  • Deus Ex Machina? Witchcraft and the Techno-World Venetia Robertson
Deus Ex Machina? Witchcraft and the Techno-World Venetia Robertson Introduction Sociologist Bryan R. Wilson once alleged that post-modern technology and secularisation are the allied forces of rationality and disenchantment that pose an immense threat to traditional religion.1 However, the flexibility of pastiche Neopagan belief systems like ‘Witchcraft’ have creativity, fantasy, and innovation at their core, allowing practitioners of Witchcraft to respond in a unique way to the post-modern age by integrating technology into their perception of the sacred. The phrase Deus ex Machina, the God out of the Machine, has gained a multiplicity of meanings in this context. For progressive Witches, the machine can both possess its own numen and act as a conduit for the spirit of the deities. It can also assist the practitioner in becoming one with the divine by enabling a transcendent and enlightening spiritual experience. Finally, in the theatrical sense, it could be argued that the concept of a magical machine is in fact the contrived dénouement that saves the seemingly despondent situation of a so-called ‘nature religion’ like Witchcraft in the techno-centric age. This paper explores the ways two movements within Witchcraft, ‘Technopaganism’ and ‘Technomysticism’, have incorporated man-made inventions into their spiritual practice. A study of how this is related to the worldview, operation of magic, social aspect and development of self within Witchcraft, uncovers some of the issues of longevity and profundity that this religion will face in the future. Witchcraft as a Religion The categorical heading ‘Neopagan’ functions as an umbrella that covers numerous reconstructed, revived, or invented religious movements, that have taken inspiration from indigenous, archaic, and esoteric traditions.

  • BE Aware of the Threefold Law with This Kind of Spell!
Love Spells (BE aware of the threefold law with this kind of spell!) To obtain the love from a specific person At nighttime light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Cut out a piece of paper that is 3 inches by 3 inches. Draw a heart on it and color it in with red. Write the name of the name of the person that you desire on the heart. While doing all this be thinking of this person being attracted to you and not being able to resist you! Think of his or her heart burning with desire for you just like the flames of the fire. Then kiss the name on the heart 3 times. Place the paper in the fire while saying these words 3 times. Do so with sincerity... "Fire come from below, bring me love that I do know, make my heart blaze and shine, to bring the love that will be mine!" Soon my love will come a day, three times strong and here to stay!" "SO MOTE IT BE!" Stay and meditate on the spell you just did, seeing it come true! After you are finished concentrating for a few minutes, extinguish the fire. Soon your love will come to you! Soulmate Dream Ritual Items: 3 almonds and 3 raisins - Milk - Honey Ritual: Put the almonds and raisins under your pillow. Before you go to bed, drink a cup of warm milk with a tsp. of honey then go to sleep. If you wonder if a certain person is your soulmate (“the” one) it will tell you in your dream.

  • A Short Course in Scrying
A Short Course in Scrying Benjamin Rowe copyright 1997, 1998 Introduction This paper was written in response to requests by participants of the “enochian-l” and “Praxis” internet discussion groups; it first appeared as a series of posts on those groups in early 1997. The current version has been slightly rewritten to enhance the clarity of the presentation, and to include a small amount of additional material. The techniques described herein are adaptations of techniques I learned from two sources. The first of these is Mr. Brian D., who taught me the basic method many years ago. The second is Mr. Paul Solomon and his group, the Fellowship of the Inner Light, who had transformed that method into the foundation of their system of spiritual work. Special thanks also to the “secret chiefs” of the Fellowship, for their direct and effective contribution to my work at a critical point. Some debts can never be repaid; the best that can be done is to pass on what was given. ïL Chapter 1. Preliminary Considerations To begin, the reader should understand that scrying is as much a learned skill as is reading or ice-skating. Persistent practice is necessary to teach the nervous system how to do it, even where the person has some innate talent. And as with other learned skills, there is a learning curve. At first there will be a long period when you don't seem to be making any significant progress. Then things will suddenly fall together and your practice will improve markedly in a short period, before leveling off again at something close to your highest level of skill.

Without guidance, this is usually impossible. Therefore, lowe my biggest thanks to Peter and Laura Yorke of Ra Horakhty Temple, who provided my first exposure to self-initiation techniques in the Golden Dawn. Their years of expe rience with the Golden Dawn material yielded a structure of carefully selected ex ercises, which their students still use today to bring about a gradual transformation. WIthout such well-prescribed use of the Golden Dawn's techniques, it would have been difficult to make progress in its grade system. The basic structure of the course in this book is built on a foundation of the Golden Dawn's elemental grade system as my teachers passed it on. In particular, it develops further their choice to use the color correspondences of the Four Worlds, a piece of the original Golden Dawn system that very few occultists have recognized as an ini tiatory tool.

  • Witchy Woman” Janna Moll’S Presentation on Witchcraft Networking Zoom Meeting May 27, 2020
“Witchy Woman” Janna Moll’s presentation on Witchcraft Networking Zoom Meeting May 27, 2020 Witchcraft has been around as long as indigenous cultures and each have had practices to heal, honor life, and manifest outcomes. An early name for these practitioners is ‘Shaman’. Their practices have in more recent times been considered a tradition of ‘magick’. This magic results from intentional use of ceremony, rituals, and the casting of spells in witchcraft. The practice of magic with an affinity to nature usually occurs within a pagan tradition. Origins are believed to have been sorcerers in the ancient near East and Nile Valley before the advent of Christianity. Druids identified as Christians in the 18th century. Modern Druidry are pagans from the learned class of the Celts. Celtic religion is polytheistic (believing in many deities). Pagans are deeply aware of the natural world and see the divine in the ongoing cycle of life and death. They are eco-friendly. Wicca (considered a religion) is different from other forms of contemporary paganism, though they share influences. Wicca arose in the early 20th century and was taught and practiced through secret covens. Most Wiccan groups are duotheistic believing in the Horned God of fertility (male) and the Mother Goddess (female). Wicca is known as the religion of ‘witches’, a practice that celebrates the glory of nature. It is difficult to say whether Wicca is a new religion or an old one. Guiding Principles The Three-Fold Law or the Law of Return is the belief that what you put out into the world, both in action as well as your presence, comes back to you three-fold.

  • Protection Magick – in Practice©
Protection magick – in practice© This text adds to the overview on Protection Magick by acting as a How To document. How to cast a circle is a vital bit of kit for all witches, whether they are beginners or not. When you’ve decided to cast a spell, the first thing is to protect yourself from any unwanted energies durng your ritual or incantation. You can smudge everything in site, but you can also cast a protective circle - and one of the easiest substances to use is salt – so, make a circle of salt around your tools and altar. • Stand in the circle with the tools you wish to use. • Relax – say, “the circle is open, but never broken and the Goddess is forever in my heart”. • Call upon the guardians: face in each direction and say, “Air – East, Spirits of the Air I call you Fire – South, Spirits of Fire I call you Water - West, Spirits of Water I call you Earth – North, Spirits of Earth I call you”. • Imagine a pillar of green light from the Earth up to your head, grounding you. • Say, “thank you – the circle is cast”. Then, you run whichever spell you want to do. When you’ve completed your spell, you’ll need to open the circle safely. • Face in each direction and say, “Earth – North, Spirits of Earth I thank you for your presence here today Water – West, Spirits of Water I thank you for your presence here today Fire – South, Spirits of Fire I thank you for your presence here today Air – East, Spirits of the Air I thank you for your presence here today.” • Imagine the pillar of green light returning to the earth • Give thanks to the Goddess – “AS ABOVE, SO BELOW, SO MOTE IT BE” © 2019 Written and revised by Gylden Community Library How to make a witch bottle = a traditional protective tool that has been around for many centuries as a protection against curses or malicious witchcraft.

  • Mapping the Wiccan Ritual Landscape: Circles of Transformation Nikki Bado- Frcrlick
Mapping the Wiccan Ritual Landscape: Circles of Transformation Nikki Bado- Frcrlick Wicca, or Witchcraft,' is a religion without a sacred architecture. Its practice unbounded by walls, Wicca claims no temples, church buildings, synagogues, or mosques. There is, however, a sacred landscape within which complex multi-directional movements are made that elicit transformative ritual processes. Like practitioners of other religions, Wiccans (or Witches) may perform simple acts of meditation, prayer, or informal ceremonies at any time and in any place. However, formal group rituals are held in a specially prepared space called "the Cir~le,"~a place that Witches describe as "between the world of humans and the realms of the Gods." The casting of the magic Circle-or the construction of sacred space-is an essential step in the performance of major Wiccan religious ritual as well as a fundamental skill that must be mastered by newly initiated Witches. An examination of this crucial element of Wiccan practice will provide insight about the ways in which Wiccans engage religious space and ritual itself as a dynamic and transformative process and perhaps raise questions about the nature of space in general. The Craft of the Wise Wicca and other contemporary Pagan religions are relatively new subjects for scholars, and so it may be necessary to provide a brief grounding in Wicca before embarking on a discussion of ritual landscape. Note that it is extremely difficult to make general statements about the Craft because of the diversity of its practices and communities;' any description I give must not be understood as definitive.

  • Lower Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram
LOWER BANISHING RITUAL OF THE PENTAGRAM brought to you by Soror Shekinah Here is the Lower Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. This is used to clarify the mind before any ritual work (including divinations) as well as clearing the area of any lingering astral garbage entities. It is also advisable to do this before meditations since it helps to center and focus the mind. There are three parts to this ritual: 1. Qabalistic Cross -Move to the center of space, close your eyes and spend a few moments clearing your mind - Visualize your self growing larger and larger, upward and through any barriers (such as roof) that might exist. Rise up until you can the area below you, then the whole city, then the country, then the erath. - Keep growing upward till you can see the solar system below you, and glalaxy, keep going higher still. - Then become aware of a brilliant shining white light above you. - Know that this light is the light of the divine, and if you were to see it all at once you would go blind and possibly insane, therefore you only become aware of a small part of it. - Reach up in your mind and physically with your right hand bring the light down to your forehead. At this point touch your forehead physically and vibrate the word "AH-TEH", visualising with your eyes (and with eyes still closed) a brilliant white ray of light coming out of your forehead and extending upward, infinitely. - Then bring your hand down so it's covering your genital area with your finger pointing downward and vibrate "MAHL-KOOT".

  • The Histories of the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram Graham John Wheeler [email protected]
Advance Version Research Article Correspondences 8, no. 2 (2020): 1–40 A Microcosm of the Esoteric Revival: The Histories of the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram Graham John Wheeler [email protected] Abstract This article examines the sources that underlie the best known of all the rituals that have emerged from the modern esoteric revival: the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP), which was formulated in the late-Victorian period by the creators of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. A close study reveals that the sources of the LBRP are extraordinarily varied; and, in some cases, extremely old. This eclecticism shows how religious rituals and other “invented traditions” tend to be assembled from a bricolage of pre-existing materials, part familiar and part mysterious. The Golden Dawn’s eclecticism also served the practical function of bridging the gap between the Christian and pagan interests/allegiances within its membership. Moreover, the construction of the LBRP provides an example of how older, more fluid traditions of esoteric knowledge came to be codified and standardised by the Golden Dawn in the context of the modern occult revival. Keywords: esotericism; occult revival; religious ritual; ritual; ritual magic The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) is the best known of all the rituals that have emerged from the modern occult revival. It was originally developed and popularised by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in the late-Victorian period; and it continues to be found in numerous esoteric con- texts today, not least because popular introductions to ceremonial magic and related subjects continue to teach beginners the LBRP in what is recognisably its Golden Dawn form.1 1.
