WORD ASSOCIATION Write out a list of words that you associate with your style. Here's a few to get you started: classic, neutral, minimalist, feminine, casual, relaxed, preppy, vintage, boho, chic, artsy, sophisticated, tomboy

USE PINTEREST TO DISCOVER YOUR PERSONAL STYLE 1 - Start with style inspiration: Go to Pinterest.com. In the search bar at the top, type in “outfit ideas” or + outfit" (example: feminine outfit, boho outfit, classic outfit)

2 - If you already have a Pinterest account, setup a Pinterest board and name it “My Style”. When you find a photo that you like, save it to that Pinterest board. If you don’t have a Pinterest account, you can sign up for one, which is free.

3 - When you have about 30 outfit photos saved, go to your Pinterest board and look at the photos you saved. Is there a consistent look to the photos? Do the photos match one of the styles below? Which style do you favor the most? Which style(s) fit your lifestyle?

TYPES OF PERSONAL STYLES: These are popular styles that you may relate to. Circle the one you like the most.

ATHLEISURE / BOHO / CASUAL / CLASSIC / EDGY

GLAM / MINIMALIST / PREPPY / ROMANTIC

List each activity you do the most, #1 being most often, then write the dress code beside the activity. Activity examples: work, travel, weekends, gym, mom-life, outdoor, etc. Dress Code examples: dressy, casual, professional, business-casual, athleisure, etc.

MY FAVORITE CLOTHES: Write a few of your favorite clothes you like to wear the most that matches your personal style. These are the clothes you reach for often when you get dressed everyday.

Let's create your color palette! A cohesive color palette is important when using a capsule wardrobe, so everything will mix and match. You can have a color palette of your base color with only neutral colors OR you can add accent colors as well. Follow Steps 1 through 3, to select the colors, then select patterns to include in Step 4.

See the Color Coordinating Chart on the Capsule Wardrobe Tools page (https://classyyettrendy.com/capsule-wardrobe-tools/) for examples of colors to choose from. NOTE: chambray can also work as a neutral color.

Use this list to select the core closet essentials categories in neutral colors (see neutral colors on page 5) you want to include in your capsule wardrobe. You can fill in your other closet staples for your personal style in the spaces provided. You can select more than one item in multiple neutral colors.

Now, you can create your capsule wardrobe! Write the core closet essentials you selected on page 6, then fill in a few clothes and/or shoes in your accent colors. Write any items on your wishlist and place a checkmark next to "have it" or "need it". If you need to buy anything for your capsule, use this sheet when you shop.

How to use the worksheet: Write the name of the month and year at the top. In the “Item” column, write all the pieces in your capsule wardrobe. Underneath each “Date” column, place a checkmark next to the item you wear underneath the corresponding date.
