The National Platform on ESD adopted the National Action Plan on 20 June 2017, chaired by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). It sets out the roadmap for transforming our education system to achieve greater sustainability. The overarching goal of the National Action Plan is the structural implementation of ESD in all sectors of the German education system. The 130 short, medium and long- Preface term goals in the National Action Plan identify where we need to start in the process of transforming our education system: for example, in the education and How can we ensure food security for the people on training of teachers, in curricula and syllabuses and on our planet? How can we achieve sustainable energy the ground in learning spaces – preschools, schools, supplies? And how can we attain more sustainability business enterprises, higher education institutions globally with our decisions and actions? Germany’s Reluctance Towards pan-European Banking Resolution by Annika Stahlhut (June 2014) Abstract In the recent two years the European Banking Union has been a chief project in European financial integration. Apart from European banking supervision and attempts to integrate deposit insurance on EU-level the member states have agreed to also harmonize the resolution of banks: A Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM) seeks to protect taxpayers in Europe from assuming the costs of resolution and to maintain financial stabilty in the internal market when banks are wound up. Although states have therefor charged the Commission to develop a common policy for banking resolution, Germany gains particular attention in European negotiations for objecting to the regulation establishing a single framework. Newspapers report that the German finance minister has announced to block the resolution mechanism (Schäfers, 2014, January 21), for which he is criticized sharply – even by parties on domestic level. It therefore seems as if domestic opinions on European banking resolution depart substantially wherefore the German position appears worth for an in-depth study. To this end European integration of banking resolution is embedded into the theoretical framework of liberal intergovernmentalism that provides for a liberal theory on national preference formation.

It has taken the necessary decisions on the provision of financing and the conduct of other business in accordance with the conditions set forth in the KfW Law and Bylaws. The Board of Supervisory Directors and the Audit Committee each met three times in 2017 for this purpose; the Presidial and Nomination Committee five times, the Remuneration Committee four times and the Risk and Credit Committee seven times. The attached provisional list of participants attending the fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties, and the fifth session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, as well as the thirty-first sessions of the subsidiary bodies, has been prepared on the basis of information received by the secretariat as at Friday, 4 December 2009. 2. A final list of participants will be issued on Friday, 18 December 2009, taking into account additional information received by the secretariat prior to that date and including any corrections submitted. One of the indispensable elements of the European Single Market is the opportunity for all citi- zens to change jobs as smoothly as possible or for services to be rendered from one European country to another.
