The G7 is a collective of seven of the world's most industrialized and developed economies. Their political leaders come together annually to discuss important global economic, political, social and security issues. The Group of Seven (G7) is a group consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These countries, with the seven largest IMF-described advanced economies in the world,[1] represent 58% of the global net wealth ($317 trillion). The G7 countries also represent more than 46% of the global gross domestic product (GDP) based on nominal values, and more than 32% of the global GDP based on purchasing power parity. The European Union is also represented at the G7 summit.

The G7 greatly influenced international economic and political decision-making. In 1997, Russia joined the ranks of the G7, and the coalition was renamed to the G8.
The 44th summit of the Group of Seven (G7), which was held from June 8–9, 2018 in La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada, ended in complete disarray with US President Donald Trump blasting off host Canada and abruptly retracting his support for a joint statement, signed by every nation in the group.
The 43rd G7 summit was held on May 26–27, 2017[1] in Taormina (ME), Sicily, Italy. In March 2014, the G7 declared that a meaningful discussion was currently not possible with Russia in the context of the G8. Since then, meetings have continued within the G7 process.
IN NEWS Chaukhandi Stupa, an ancient Buddhist site located in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, has been declared as a Monument and protected area of national importance by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

State Bank of India introduces Repo Rate-Linked Home Loan.
SBI, the country's largest bank by assets home loans linked to the repo rate from July 1, 2019. Key interest rate reduced to 5.75. The Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) lowered the repo rate by 25 basis points and switched to an "accommodative" stance from "neutral". RBI reduced the repo rate each in its policy reviews in February and April.

2). India's First Dinosaur Museum Park inaugurated in Gujarat
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated India's first Dinosaur-Museum-cum- Park in the Mahisagar district. The museum is located in Raiyoli area in Balasinor exhibit remains of various dinosaurs and fossil records. Dinosaur Museum cum Park is the first park in the country and the world's third park. Raiyoli area is the third largest dinosaur fossil site in the world and it is also the second largest dinosaur hatchery in the world, where thousands of eggs had been found.

Sinabung was inactive for around 400 years before it erupted in 2010, 2014 and February 2018. Since then it has become one of south east Asian nation's most active volcanoes. Mount Sinabung is a Pleistocene-to-Holocene stratovolcano located in North Sumatra. It is particularly prone to seismic activity due to its location on the Ring of Fire. Ring of Fire: It an arc of volcanoes and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin.
