(Underneath) After being raised in the quiet city of Bristol, Connecticut, Joe Badore attended The College of Saint Rose in Albany and acquired a degree in Music Education. While attaining his undergraduate degree, he studied classical voice under Woodrow Bynum, and performed the entirety of Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin from memory as his degree recital. Badore wrote the lyrics for “THE VACATION”, a ten minute musical recently featured on The Latest Draft Podcast, and wrote the lyrics and co-wrote the book for “THE MAGNOLIA”, a twenty Joe Badore minute musical. Joe is finishing his graduate studies at NYU this spring, as part of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

(Welcome to La MaMa) Alex Becker is an NYC-based performing artist and writer passionate about shifting the field of musical theatre to include a more diverse range of voices, stories, and sounds. After growing up immersed in the arts in Nashville and New York City, she received her BA in Anthropology and began her career in New Orleans where she worked in education nonprofits, creative startups, and restaurants whilst swing dancing, biking under the oak trees, and eating lots of oysters. As a theatre-maker, she’s trained, performed, and Alex Becker directed work with organizations including the National Theatre Institute, Atlantic Theatre Company, Pig Iron, SITI Company, La MaMa, Le Petit Theatre, Ping Chong & Company, and The Flea, among others. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Musical Theatre Writing at NYU and works as a Teaching Artist. alexkbecker.com

(Greenwich 1957) Clare Bierman is a playwright and lyricist raised in a Japanese-Jewish home with a snake, some rabbits, and a bunch of finches. As a performer, she’s been seen on stages across the US, and a lot in Copenhagen for some reason. She was a cast member on Un- Scripted Theater Company’s house team DASH in San Francisco. She also played baritone horn with San Francisco’s Burlesque Marching Band. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Musical Theater Writing at NYU. Clare Bierman 9

(Trust) Since launching onto the national scene by appearing on the last two seasons of HBO’s ’ presents , Dahlak has showcased his seamless blend of hip-hop, theatre, and spoken word at over 100 universities throughout the United States and Europe, SXSW, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Smithsonian, , and Off-Broadway on Theatre Row, NYC. Dahlak has worked closely with Marc Bamuthi Joseph writing and performing in several of Joseph’s critically acclaimed plays, Dahlak Brathwaite including Word Becomes Flesh – presented at and Lincoln Center. In 2019, Dahlak performed at the Apollo Theatre alongside of T.I. and Black Lives Matter founder Alicia Garza in the reading of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between The World and Me (as now seen on HBO), directed by Kamilah Forbes. Spiritrials, the solo play written, performed and scored by Dahlak, is currently on tour. Since the premiere in 2015, Spiritrials has been performed in 20 cities around the country, including presentations at the prestigious Kennedy Center. Dahlak’s latest work, entitled Try/Step/Trip, was created in collaboration with legendary director Roberta Uno and premiered in February 2020 at Dance Mission in San Francisco. Development of the work has been supported by The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, CalArts, and Victory Gardens. Recently, Dahlak was nominated for the 2019 United States Artists Fellowship and was awarded NEFA’s National Theatre Project Grant. Dahlak earned his B.A. degree from the UC Davis, where he studied English and Dramatic Studies. He is currently an MFA student at NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.

Zane Bridwell (Welcome to La MaMa) Zane Bridwell is a songwriter from South Carolina who recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in music composition. He is an experienced pianist, who particularly enjoys performing as an accompanist and church musician. He is also a hobbyist music theorist who avidly enjoys writing deconstructions of the relationship between compositional technique and dramatic meaning. Zane’s recent projects include a 20-minute musical The Monster Within co-created with Amber Delaluz, and Zane the XVII, a collection of solo material written and performed by himself. He is currently pursuing his masters in Musical Theatre Writing at New York University. 1 0

(McSorley’s Stays the Same) Carrie Caffrey is a Chicago-native lyricist, composer, and performer. Her songs have been featured in cabarets internationally, as well as in the 2015 & 2018 New York Musical Theatre Festivals. Most recently her musical Old-Fashioned Cookies was named a semi-finalist in NAMT's 2020 15-Minute Musical Competition. She graduated cum laude from Northwestern University in 2018, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, a double major in Sociology, and a Certificate in Musical Theatre. At school she served as Carrie Caffrey head writer for the Waa-Mu show, the world's largest student-written musical. She has also written two musicals commissioned for BAM Youth Theater in Chicago. Carrie is currently pursuing an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing at New York University. She is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, MAESTRA, and New Play Exchange.

(Horrid Conditions) Katherine Cartusciello is a New York City-based composer and sound designer with over ten years of experience in technical theatre. She graduated with Departmental Honors from Columbia University in 2016, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Music. Her work has been performed by chamber ensembles including TAK Ensemble, Counter)Induction, and Daedalus Quartet. She is currently attending a Master's program in Music Theatre Composition at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and Katherine Cartusciello working on a full-length musical titled Whitechapel: A Jack the Ripper Musical Drama, which explores the media’s sensationalism of the Jack the Ripper murders.

(Zero Irving) Amber Delaluz is an adjunct instructor at NYU Tisch. She graduated (‘19) with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, B.A. in Literature, and minors in dance and music. She is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing with a concentration in book writing (‘21). At NYU Tisch, Amber has performed in numerous musical productions including Fun Home, Celebration, and Saint Sebastian. An interdisciplinary artist, she is a nationally competitive dancer, singer, actor, pianist, and violinist. In 2018, she was cast in a production of Amber Delaluz Evita in Italy. A Milwaukee, WI native, Amber now resides in Flatbush, Brooklyn with her loving husband and two dogs.

(The Song of Today - Behind the Scenes Video) Janey Feingold is a writer, director and lyricist who created the Viral musical teen series CHICKEN GIRLS for the BRAT Youtube Network. CHICKEN GIRLS, which reached over 100 Million views in the first season, was nominated for 2018 and 2019 STREAMY AWARDS and is currently in its 7th season. Janey’s songwriting credits include the top streaming original songs from the show such as BIRDS OF A FEATHER, PHOTOGRAPH, WAVE, NEXT CRUSH and DANCING ON THE CEILING. Janey Feingold On the directing front, Janey’s credits include music videos, branded content and episodic work. Janey co-produced and directed the digital song cycle Creativity Is Not Canceled featuring 8 new songs written entirely in quarantine. Janey and her musical theater collaborator Bela Kawalec were finalists in the 2020 Sappho Project W*rk Lab for their work on REAL PEOPLE THINGS, a Musical Podcast. Janey is currently pursuing an MFA in Musical Theater Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

(McSorley’s Stays the Same) Spencer Grubbe is a composer/ lyricist from Sherwood, OR. He graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 2017 with a BA in Music and in 2018 he co-wrote the musical Familiar Strangers for the school’s theater department. While he has been attending graduate school at NYU, he has also been producing electronic dance music with his brother under the name “Grubbe” (Also also, very talented in the art of naming). Always looking towards the future of music and sound, Spencer searches for inspiration wherever he can Spencer Grubbe find it. And just like many nights before this one, this time he found it at a bar. 1 2

(Trust) Katie Hazdovac is a composer/lyricist, playwright, singer, and actor from Monterey, California. She has performed original work on both California and New York stages. Regional acting credits include Peter Pan (Peter), Heathers: The Musical (Veronica), CATS (Rumpleteazer), and Pirates of Penzance (Mabel). In addition to her work in musical theatre, Katie works as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. She holds a Master of Science degree in Speech- Language Pathology from the University of Washington and is the Katie Hazdovac owner of Poppy Speech & Language Therapy, LLC.

Nori Hung (The Song of Today - Behind the Scenes Video, Anticipation) Nori Hung is a student of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

(Space) Erika creates music that tells stories. Her work has been featured around the world by the Nadia Boulanger Institute, the Musical Theatre Factory, the Tisch Fringe Festival, Gallatin Theatre Troupe, SheNYC Arts, and Catalyst Artists at Joe’s Pub, the Cutting Room, the Jerry H. Labowitz Theater, the Kraine Theatre, Hub Seventeen, and the Cesar Franck Hall at the Schola Cantorum de Paris. Erika has performed as a conductor, pianist, and vocalist at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco and on CBS Sunday Morning in New Erika Ji York. Hailing from sunny California, Erika studied computer science and philosophy at Stanford, ran the Stanford Viennese Ball, and worked as a product manager at Dropbox before receiving a Tisch Fellowship to attend the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. www.erikaji.com

(Horrid Conditions) Canadian writer, singer and actress, Anastasia Dextrene S. Johnson (a.k.a. Ana Stasia’s) works have been published and recognized across North America, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. She has appeared on numerous television shows, including Black-ish, Scandal and Brooklyn Nine Nine. Though she is best known for her self-written EP, Best Life and single “Shade”, which earned her GRAMMY short-listings for Best R&B Album, Song, Performance and Record of the Year. Anastasia is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Anastasia Dextrene the AMDA College & Conservatory of the Performing Arts (NY/LA), and S. Johnson soon, the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. (Play) William is an award-winning composer, musical director and arranger/producer. He is mostly known for writing the music to “Brunch: The Musical”, which was produced in Montreal and toured the Atlantic Canada. The showʼs music was praised by critics and audiences and received the support of both the CALQ and SOCAN for itʼs creation. More recently, he contributed music to “On Hope: a Digital Song Cycle”, which was presented by The Other Palace (West End) and is developing Slice Of Paradise, a comedy reality TV musical Williams Karras podcast . Music Direction credits include Heathers, Next Thing You Know, Legally Blond, and working with Playerʼs Theatre (Montreal) for the development of new works. William completed his B.Mus at McGill University, where he most notably studied and worked with drummer/composer John Hollenbeck, and is currently completing an MFA at New York University.

(Nine Windows) Bela Konstancja Kawalec is a Polish-American writer, composer and performer currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Bela is a self taught musician who has honed her skills in Nashville’s song writing rooms. In 2015 Bela released an EP of songs which she later performed in Nashville at the Bluebird Cafe and on a US house concert tour in 2018. Bela co-wrote "THIS DANCE" and "WITHOUT YOU BY MY SIDE" with Seth Talley, both of which were released on his record MORNING BIRD (2018). In 2019 Bela released three singles, one Bela Konstancja of which is currently in rotation on radio stations in Nevada and Kawalec California. Bela’s songs have appeared in short films, on MUSIC CITY ROOTS live radio show and online. Bela and her musical theater writing partner Janey Feingold were finalists in the 2020 Sappho Project W*rk Lab and are currently developing their thesis musical REAL PEOPLE THINGS at NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program.

(Kenny’s Castaways) Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm has had over 300 productions of his plays and musicals staged in six countries. Three of his shows have been published by Beat by Beat Press, which has also released recordings of his musicals SALLY SELLS SEASHELLS and GIANTS IN THE SKY. His play WOUNDED premiered Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse and is currently under option to be adapted into a feature film. His play E-SCAPE toured Minnesota, and his musical podcast APART TOGETHER was commissioned as part of La Jolla Kerry Playhouse’s “Without Walls” audio project. He has won and placed in Kazmierowicztrimm over two dozen playwriting competitions, including winning 4 Better Lemons Critics’ Choice Awards and being a Finalist for the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference. 1 4

Marella Martin Koch (Director) Marella Martin Koch is a director, librettist, and playwright. She earned a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley and an MFA from the NYU/Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. She has directed readings, concerts, and productions throughout Los Angeles and New York. Recent highlights include Sarah Fiete’s Pym at Dixon Place and The Grinding Woman at The Players Theatre, Jonathan Fadner and Emily Roller’s Droning On for Common Man Musicals at Main Street Theatre and Dance Alliance, and the rollicking and acclaimed world premiere of Gregory Moss and Casey O’Neil’s The Great Cat Massacre at The Kraine Theater. She worked for three years as the associate to Haskell Wexler, a one-time Village resident, and her first film, Sonnet 115 for New York Shakespeare Exchange's critically-acclaimed The Sonnet Project, was shot in Abingdon Square Park and screened at Brazil's CineFuturo Festival. www.marellamartinkoch.com

(Face On A Cookie) Earl Marrows is an Australian composer, director, writer and actor currently completing his Masters of Fine Arts at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as part of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Since relocating to the United States Earl has engaged in a number of Artistic endeavours alongside his studies stateside both before and during the Covid pandemic including: Writing for the On Hope: Digital Song Cycle (Developed in collaboration with The Other Palace), placing in Runner Up in the Earl Marrows Mercury Theatre Songwriting competition and working with Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre to create a song cycle about the East Village. Prior to moving to New York City Earl completed a Bachelor of Arts and Music double degree with Honours at Monash University in Melbourne majoring in performance and musical composition. In his final semester of composition Earl won the Monash University and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) Pizzicato Effect Composition Prize and subsequently had his work performed by the MSO and Pizzicato Effect ensemble. Earl’s first full-length musical theatre piece Holloway: A New Musical was staged in October of 2018 at Monash Uni Student Theatre and sold out every performance over a two week run. He is part of comedy musical theatre writing duo Marshall and Marrows whose two original musicals Pining for Affection: A Tree Musical and Tone Death: A Ghost Musical enjoyed full seasons as part of both the Melbourne Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in both 2018 and 2019. He collaborated with the Red Stitch Actors Theatre in 2019 composing music for the Australian premiere of Will Eno’s Wakey Wakey Earl has also written for television with his work appearing every Friday at 6pm for most of 2017 on ABC’s hit sports talk-show Sideliners. 1 5

(Face On A Cookie) Maggie Moe is a lyricist, writer, voice actress, and comedian from the Bay (YAY!) Area, CA. Early forays into the world of entertainment include parodies of The Today Show (“The Tomorrow Show”) and Bowling For Soup’s “Girl All The Bad Guys Want” (“Cake All Want”). She co-wrote and starred in the cabaret A Blonde, A Brunette, and a Concert in 2007. She co-founded Lymelight Productions, a non profit theatre company that raises money for children with Lyme Disease (an illness she combatted Maggie Moe herself), in 2010. In 2009, she graduated from the ACT Summer Training Congress in San Francisco. She wrote and performed in “Busted!” a cabaret, to pay off an egregious parking “misunderstanding.” She wrote for the Ithaca College Theatre Department’s annual Sherry Party comedy show in 2010. In 2012, she graduated from The Second City’s Comedy Studies Program and wrote the opening number to their revue: Kick Ass Class (With A Dark Past). In 2013, she graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Acting. She completed level four at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in LA in 2014. She hosted Person On the Street interviews with Ozy Media (headed by Carlos Watson). She founded Daily Rap, a segment in which she summarizes the news of the day through, you guessed it, rhyme. In 2019, she was admitted into NYU’s world renown Tisch School of the Arts and is pursuing her masters in Graduate Musical Theatre Writing. In 2020, she graduated from GSV’s Entrepreneurial Bootcamp. She is a makeup enthusiast, cardio fanatic, and card carrying member of Bachelor Nation who believes that attitude is everything. Fire em up!

(Gay Icon) Erica Molfetto is a Brooklyn-based comedy writer/lyricist/actress, whose work has been featured in the New York Comedy Music Festival, She Makes Me Laugh Festival, and New York New Works festival. In addition to performing on The PIT’s house musical improv team Elevator Talk, you can see her perform her cabaret-style variety show “Getting Famous,” at the Kraine Theatre every month. (Play) Sam Norman is a prizewinning lyricist, librettist, poet and translator originally from England. His three full-length musicals, written with composer Aaron King, have been performed across the UK, and he has authored a book of comic poems, A Teen’s Guide to Modern Manners (Little, Brown). He has a BA from Oxford University, where he sang in the UK’s oldest a cappella group, and he is currently studying for an MFA in musical theatre writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. https://www.samuelnorman.com Sam Norman

(Kenny’s Castaways) Eliza Randall is a composer, pianist, and music director from Southern Nevada. She began composing music when she was six years old and has been hooked ever since. Her twenty- minute musical, written with Sam Norman, will receive its debut on the podcast The Final Draft, and her various stand-alone compositions have been performed by groups such as the Gallatin Theatre Troupe and Tin Pan Alley 2. She studied classical piano under internationally renowned pianists Jeffrey Shumway and Stephen Beus, and now Eliza Randall works as a piano teacher and freelance accompanist in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in piano performance and is currently pursuing an MFA in musical theatre writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

(Grow in the City, Heart(beat) of New York) Mikey Rosenbaum (ig: @thedumbamerican) is a professional amateur, composer, actor, and director. 2020 Recipient of the ASCAP Foundation Frederick Loewe Scholarship. As an educator, he is currently the Summer Director of the Performing Arts at The American School in Switzerland (TASIS) where he continues to develop new musicals for international students every year. As part of Flip the Script Creations, Mikey co- develops several new productions for both TYA and professional Mikey Rosenbaum theater every year. Recent scores include: Out of the Woods; Cry Wolf, The Prince and the Pauper (Children’s Stage Adventures); Epic: The Musical, Prince of Poyais, Windcatcher, Same Sky, Sketch, The Great Divide (TASIS); Catch and the Sirens (Amios Theater, NYC), Monstress (Hunger and Thirst Theatre, workshop), Big Love (The Party, Nashville), Metropolitan (Fresh Fruit Festival '19, Winner of Best Musical). As an actor, he is a proud member of Actor’s Equity and continues to work in Nashville, NYC, and Europe. 1 7

(Gay Icon) Yuriko Shibata(ig: @yulilymusic) is a versatile composer, arranger, and keyboardist. She creates various genres of music including classical, jazz, pop, latin, R&B, film, and theatre. She has directed music for the movie, Jesus, which won the Kutxabank-New Directors Award category of the San Sebastián Festival in Spain. She received a Bachelor of Music with the major in Music Composition (movie and Broadcasting Composition) in Tokyo College of Music. (Anticipation, Space) Andrew is a lyricist, playwright, director and performer. Their debut, "Nailed It!" won the Greenroom Award for Best Original Songs, and toured globally to 5-star reviews, including a sold out Edinburgh fringe run, and appearing at the 2016 Adelaide Cabaret Festival. As the inaugural Pratt Foundation Artist in Residence in 2017 at Monash University, Andrew developed the new musical Jack of Two Trades with composer Lucy O’Brien. Voyagers, a song cycle musical written with Loclan Mackenzie-Spencer was commissioned by the Andrew Strano Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre with the support of a City of Melbourne 2020 arts grant. Andrew is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts’ M.A. (Writing for Performance) and was awarded the 2019 Victorian Fulbright Scholarship, the 2020 Schubert scholarship, a major Mike Walsh Fellowship, a PPCA performer’s trust foundation grant, the George Fairfax Memorial Award in and an American Australian Association Arts Fund Grant to complete their studies at the NYU Tisch graduate musical theatre writing program.

(Grow in the City) Brooke Trumm is a composer, percussionist, and teaching artist from Portland, Oregon. She has written original musicals and classical commissions in Idaho, Oregon, and New York, including Classical Ballet Academy in Portland, OR, and the DancersDrummersDreamers ensemble in Moscow, ID. Her most recent projects were Creativity Is Not Cancelled: A Diginal Song Cycle (NY) and Death & Taxes with HARP Theatricals (NY). Brooke has been an active percussionist for 15 years, more recently performing in Brooke Trumm Torchsong Theatre Company’s The Ripper, (OR) and the song cycle The Lady Power Project with HARP Theatricals. 1 8

(Zero Irving) New York based Turkish composer, writer and performer, Sinan’s works have been performed in Turkey, the USA and across Europe. Currently pursuing an MFA degree in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Sinan is one of the selected graduates of UNESCO Aladdin Project International University for Intercultural Leadership, holding the title of UNESCO Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue and Peace. As a multidisciplinary artist, Sinan’s works explore cultural diversity Sinan Usta and integrity of any kind in a futuristic setting. Sinan’s music video Politics of the Future has been selected to be a part of the Diversity Art Festival 2020 at NYU. Sinan’s artistic highlights include Playbook Hub Competition Music Video of the Country, Best Actor and Best Music in National Youth Theatre Festival in Turkey as well as performing and composition credits in the Istanbul artistic scene.

(Greenwich 1957) Joshua Vranas is a composer, writer, and orchestrator from Richmond, VA. He is known for EMMA AND THE WEST, a 20-minute musical audio drama with words by Clare Bierman (now streaming on Spotify and Apple Music!); #SEXYGIRLS, with words by Katie Hazdovac; and LOVE IS IN THE AIR, with book and lyrics by Daniel Arguello Elias. He has recently received the Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship in 2020 and the Frederick Loewe Scholarship Award from ASCAP in 2019 for his dedication to the craft Joshua Vranas of music composition for entertainment. Currently, Joshua is studying at the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program (Cycle 30) in New York, where he lives with his husband and his rabbit. 1 9 About Rattlestick
