Winona State's enrollment is bound to increase as more students take courses in Rochester, but that does not mean there will be more students spending money in Winona. Surely Rochester will attract some students to its new Winona State "campus." But rather than fight the proposal, which will more than likely become reality in the near future, the Winona community should 1•• put its energy into better promoting and selling Winona. Winona's a pretty nice place to go to school — it should work to remind students of this, as well as sell itself to prospective students.
