Convenient

Easy

320kbps good quality music, has almost everykind of music.

All above are easy to use. Don't like the adds though.

Spotify allows music exploration on specific genres. Soundcloud has unique sounds from artists. Both are convenient for on the go play.

Spotify: Can choose songs you want to listen to, unlimited plays, discover new music, make , makes playlists for you

Youtube: Lots of music you can't find anywhere else (e.g. covers, underground artists, non-English), lots of good recommendations, free, unlimited plays, makes playlists for you, can make playlists

Spotify - easy to store playlists of songs; Soundcloud - coolest remixes, best for discovering music; Youtube - autoplay of related songs (Soundcloud has it too but Youtube's variety is somehow better imo)

Spotify-because I get to chose what I'm listening to Pandora- because it's a good place to find new music YouTube-because I get to chose what I'm listening to

Its between that and Spotify, but I like 8 tracks because its in the browser.

I can get music whenever I want (offline or online)

spotify: allows you to play any song and minimal commercials. has most mainstream songs : has music not on spotify. i.e.: remixes

I am an iPhone user and its easy to use.

FREE MUZAK

I choose to use all of them because some of the songs I like to listen too you can't find them on anything else. Therefore, I like to listen to my music by any means necessary.

easy streaming, few commercials

They're all pretty easy to use. I don't like Pandora because it doesn't have a lot of music that I like.

I listen to spotify to find indie artist that have no other platforms for their music. I use because I used to buy all my music on iTunes so it was easy to switch over.

Pandora is easy to use on a mobile device.

Large library for Spotify, Indie artists for Soundcloud

I like having the songs I listen to

spotify and pandora are part of SECRET ILLUMINATI PROPAGANDA made by our SECRET REPTILIAN OVERLORDS to SECRETLY SPY on the human race as they plan our SECRET DEMISE so that they can SECRETLY TAKE OVER THE EARTH and maybe like, mars or something. i have no idea what giant reptile lizard would do on mars though.

and by all of that nonsense i mean that i actually just prefer soundcloud and youtube due to their general design, as well as focus on original content. that is to say, like, as far as i understand, spotify and pandora is more for like, official music, or something? like fully licensed music from big name labels or whatever? like if i go on spotify i can hear that song that sings while he does the silly that everyone made fun of on vine or i can hear sing a melancholic tune about her 37th ex-boyfriend and thats all cool and swell, but on spotify/pandora i won't be able to hear songs made by some new guy in his basement who's just messing around with his music program while eating a plate of his mom's homemade spaghetti. the array of independent indie artists like that who can share all of their creations on youtube and soundcloud make it a much more appealing option for me. it equates to more music which means more good music to discover which is important because if there's no good music to discover what is the point of living because music is literally everything. live for music. die for music. music is great. M U S I R O C K S M Y S O C K S O F F H O L Y C O W so yeah spotify and pandora just aren't my cup of tea. well, in reality, nothing is my cup of tea because i don't drink tea, but you understand.

Spotify because it has the best selection, Soundcloud and YouTube for more obscure music

Playback mode can be offline

Spotify is just the shit

Simple, user-friendly interface; prefer Youtube because can block ads

Has multiple genres and it's easy to save and go back to

Soundcloud

Easy to access

Easy to access

MelOn and YouTube: Lots of music to browse, and easy to download them

I'm a visual type of person

Spotify is free and easy to use and has lots of music. Same with youtube except youtube has even more i use youtube just so i can download the songs off of youtube- and put them on my . i like itunes the best out of all of these because it doesn't drain my phone battery when i'm listening on the go and doesn't require an internet connection. all of my platform choices revolve around the fact that i listen to music while walking around outside and want the most accessibility possible in that regards. sometimes i use spotify at home when i'm listening to music because i don't have to worry about 1. battery and 2. internet connection, but i never ever listen to it on the go

It's free!

CONVENIENT

Easy to create playlist /listen to music

I use Soundcloud because I love finding new music, and it's the best place to explore EDM artists, in my experience.

SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT

I bought the premium, so I have no ads, free skips, and free song saves.

Soundcloud : Easy to find music, can be used on phone Youtube: Can download into iTunes

Spotify, numerous artists for free. Only draw back, no Taylor swift.

Easy to use, good content its simple

YouTube sound cloud are free

Fast, minimal ads

They have more indie music, and I find more new music.

Spotify offers instant access to millions of songs, while offering a good student discount.

I prefer YouTube since I use it the most.

8 tracks formulates premade playlists (by other users) based on what you search for example study/summer/party etc. spotify because you can listen to current music on shuffle

Soundcloud because it has new music

Because 8tracks is a hub of playlists created by other people and you can search for any mood you want

Various playlists

Most

Spotify because it has tons of options, a low rate, and makes playlists for you and categorizes genres in a cool way.

It's the easiest and fastest to access Soundcloud and YouTube best allow people with similar taste in music to form a community, and aren't limited by licensing and algorithms, to the same extent. Spotify and Pandora work well for pop music, but not for the music that I consider to be my favourite. I do like pop, but the songs that I find to be inspired, master-crafted works end up being from unknown artists with less than 100,000 hits on soundcloud, meaning that finding new songs to listen to is much easier, when I take recommendations from the people in the communities on Soundcloud and YouTube.

Spotify has an offline option and a wide variety of songs. Soundcloud has songs that cannot be found on other platforms. Youtube has music videos for when you're tripping balls.

Spotify

Spotify

Spotify

I can pick the artist or types of music

It doesn't cost money to listen and you can follow your friends and see the music they are listening to so my music taste tends to expand when I use soundcloud.

It is convient and user friendly access to a broad music spectrum; Soundcloud allows me to discover/stream underground artists

Spotify- it has basically every song, and with the app, it's easy to use

I like Spotify because it's free and there are a lot of different playlists with songs that I haven't heard of but still enjoy. YouTube is usually where I go to if I'm listening to covers, watching music videos, or just want to look up a song really quickly.

YouTube: Easily accessible platform with video focus and literally EVERYTHING in its portfolio.

Soundcloud lets me listen to remixes and EDM that isn't professionally produced and spotify lets me listen to music that is by artists i love.

Youtube: Accessible anywhere - no install required. Spotify: it is free & easy to create playlist

Spotify has everything

Spotify- free and can pick individual songs Pandora- free and variety YouTube-endless selection and free

Because.

Easy to use

Easy to use

Free

Spotify allows me to create playlists but also listen to radio that is similar to pandora. I can listen to any song at any time

Easy access

I can save/listen to music offline with Spotify. Youtube because I have adblock (no ads) and greater variety (remixes, covers, etc.) ez

Instagram

Spotify: i can save my own personal music, but still discover new music through "browse" Pandora: i can find playlists for different occasions or for different music genres that I like, and have no choice in what's specifically played so I don't have to worry about choosing songs. but it's also a good way to discover new music

Free of cost

Can choose the songs I'm listening to

Easily customizable and controllable.

With Spotify I love the fact I can easily access almost every artist you could think of and freely listen to their music. You can make playlists and follow artists completely for free. With YouTube I like that if you want to find a song by putting in lyrics or if you want to find that one song that band put out before they got famous, you will be able to with YouTube.

Easy to access, great variety of songs, works as an app on your phone

Hype

Convenient on demand music, decent exploring options Spotify is just convenient to hold playlists of songs that I already know of, Soundcloud is amazing for discovering new music and listening to songs otherwise not available on Spotify, and YouTube is also a good place to discover channels that cater to certain genre tastes and is a good platform to watch visuals with music.

Ranges from mainstream to obscure

Because I am actually the a king. And I demand a quality music streaming service such as Yogurto Yogurt. It's the Yogiest of all the Yogis. I swear by Yogurto Yogurt. Easiest to use, and more aesthetically pleasing to my sight senses.

You are welcome for my time and honest feedback. spotify: easy to make playlists and see what friends are listening to. pandora & youtube: good recommendations - leads me to good music

Soundcloud: I can move to other portals within soundcloud and still listen to the same song, and I can also transfer to another song in the same way. It's so much easier than Youtube because with Youtube you have to stop the song in one tab then play the song in another tab. However, with Soundcloud there's just this one strip on the bottom of your screen that remains unmoved. Also, there are hubs where you can follow the people you like or track the tags of genres you listen to and it's all there in one "newsfeed" of different genres. You can also easily upload your own music as well. I especially like the "like/favorites" tab of Soundcloud, it's very neat and succinct and straightforward. The cons of Soundcloud is that Copy Right is extremely prevalent and a lot of even mainstream and more well-known songs can't be found on Soundcloud. A lot of the time it's someone recording the song with their phone or laptops. At the same time, however, while Youtube has many mainstream songs available, Soundcloud is the home to all underground artists and they can freely express their music and be able to spread it throughout. In addition, you can use it with your mobile phone or iPad while being able to lock your screen to conserve energy. However, with MOBILE Soundcloud your playlists will not autoplay a lot of the times.

Youtube: Like I said, Youtube hosts many mainstream songs and underground songs alike. The only problem is that if you do play it on your mobile phone or iPad, you can't lock your screen because the song will stop. I like Youtube's playlists, because it autoplays and you can repeat or shuffle, even on your phone. It just takes up a lot of data if you do use it on your phone. I like how in Youtube's search engine, if you search up a song or genre, playlists made by other people that include the song or genre you entered can be found. I also enjoy that you can save other people's playlists very easily and it's nicely organized, your playlists and the playlists from other people that you saved. This is something trivial, but I like how Youtube shows you how many people view your playlist.

I guess, conclusively, the main difference between them is whether you use it on a mobile device or not. never really thought about other music streaming services then Spotify.. YouTube is very prevalent

Spotify - easy to stream full albums of what I want. Bummer that you have to put up with some ads Pandora - when I don't want a specific album but I want a specific feel. The personalization algorithm is great if you utilize it. Soundcloud - Great for newer artists / music and full albums if you're lucky. The new ads are a pain youtube - mainly for the "radio hits" / "club bangers" that I don't download. The quality is the most iffy though and the ads most frequent. Also good for older full albums that I wouldn't find on other services like jazz albums

It's convenient and easy to use easy to search/find things

I can listen to almost anything on Spotify, I also have prime so it doesn't use internet if I download the songs. It's like .

Soundcloud has all the lowkey shit and Apple and a fantastic catalog of playlists and every album.

Easy, not too expensive, and literally every song is at your fingertips. The only problem is the data, but you can download songs to stream with out it. I like the browse section also.

I can listen to music that I curate but can also be more expansive when I want to be.

Bigger and better selection of music spotify--can make my own playlist of songs i like youtube--on computer is easier to navigate... the spotify app on computer is kind of slow and hard to use im an indecisive person and pandora tells me what I want to listen to and introduces me to new things everyone uses it, and it looks really cool.

I pay for the membership so no commercials! And I love that all the songs I want are there.

Integration to the Apple ecosystem

They have a student discount and a very extensive library.

I prefer Apple- no ads, easy, every song

Spotify - library of songs, good app Soundcloud - great for discovering music / smaller artists

Spotify - easy access and browsing; also allows music from computer hard drive to be played on it

Easy, Free i can find better music. more unique and more remixes. i love the feeling that the music on soundlcoud gives me. i can find better music. more unique and more remixes. i love the feeling that the music on soundlcoud gives me. I never took the time to look into anything else. So youtube is intuitive to me.

I have unlimited access to both Youtube and its music platform in one.

Spotify usually has most of the newest music. has GREAT playlists and a really cool platform.

Variety of songs played

Spotify premium is such a good deal since I have such a wide range of music and Soundcloud has some really good remixes soundcloud: has experimental tracks youtube: has specific music uploaders that i like (monstercat, mrsuicidesheep) itunes: i was joking

Spotify makes it easy to discover new music constantly and consolidate my strange music tastes all in one place without having to download.

Soundcloud because anybody can post their music so it's a good way to find new artists and new music. Youtube just because it's convenient and loads fast. iTunes because I like everything in a consolidated library without having to make an account and with any music I want as long as I have the mp3 file.

Spotify offers music from artists w/strict labels, and soundcloud offers a much wider variety of smaller artists and a broader range of genres

Not sure why. Just stuck with it spotify is inexpensive and legal

Unlimited Music for $12 a month

Soundcloud: has music that you can't buy on iTunes or don't have on Spotify. Cool underground music!

Spotify: I have premium so it's cool to just look up a song and listen to it rather than download it. You can also have the whole album.

Too lazy to make another account

Soundcloud - Good content, Youtube - access to old songs unique music and music videos

Spotify has a huge range of choices, and it's easy to find and follow new artists.

I like to listen to Spotify because it gives me the chance to handpick my songs to create my own personal playlists and because I have premium I can listen to it without ads. I like Pandora because when I pick a playlist to listen to I can find other musical groups adn new songs I have nevr heard of or heard before and can then add it to my Spotify playlists. it is easily accessible and doesn't cost money

I think it's because there are the most known !

Soundcloud is great for EDM especially, but not every popular song is there. Other genres and older songs are lacking but it's good for sharing and finding remixes and current music. YouTube basically has everything! Pandora gives great suggestions Spotify is like iTunes; it's good overall. great playlists to discover new music

I listen to what I want, B!

I prefer YouTube because I have access to all the music I want on my own time versus Pandora, which gives you similar music to what you like but not necessarily the exact song(s) you want to listen to at the moment.

Free and Accessible

I have Spotify premium so I have unlimited access to most music. Also, helps me discover other artists I might like.

I am most familiar with it and it allows me to skip ads (sometimes)

Variety

I get to discover new music

I like pandora because it lets me put together stations based on music I like, and it helps me find new music that fits my interests

Easy to use. Lots of variety

Although I originally used Spotify, I switched to Apple Music because of the user interface (which is similar to iTunes), and because of the family plan.

I can watch videos and listen to music! get all music with my subscription It was already on my phone and integrated with a library of music that I started almost 10 years ago on an iPod.

Quick, easy to use, and any song or video I'd like to pick is ready to search up and be clicked

Spotify is easily my favorite music media platform because it has an incredibly large music library...basically everything, not to mention the variety of genres and functions it has from browsing to top charts to creating your own playlists, I absolutely love it. Then YouTube & SoundCloud is perfect when wanting to search for more obscure music and their music videos, in addition to just being great "search engines" for many different genres of music.

Spotify and youtube: can make playlist for each, easy to search songs it's easy streaming, with chrome you can use ad blocker so there are no interruptions, it's a good way to branch out and find new music because of reposts and the stream. it's also very easy to use, not too complicated, and it's free

YouTube because it has the most free music, Spotify because it's easier to make a playlist (although it has less songs)

Cover my range of music that I like.

Spotify is my favorite because it doesn't have ads and I can choose whichever songs I want but soundcloud sometimes has cool unreleased stuff and remixes

Pandora shows variety types of music in the similar genre.

Youtube - all the music videos are pretty much released on there Spotify - i like the way you can organize your music list

Soundcloud is my favorite platform because most of the music I listen to isn't posted elsewhere (bc its a remix or a collab or a small producer not selling their stuff yet) Spotify is great for listening to albums, and I like Youtube for music vids, music playlists, and songs not on Spotify.

Easiest to use and works across all devices

Has everything I need, music and entertainment convenient

Soundcloud has unique, new music that other platforms don't have, there's definitely more creativity. Spotify has great quality music and can stream my playlists even when I'm offline.

Its easy and it's like I have all the music

Price

Spotify gives great random music of my preference. Soundcloud is for songs that my friends upload of their own version. Youtube contains songs that I usually search for specifically.

Pandora for when I'm driving and YouTube when I'm Home

You can search songs by it's music, and because it's easy. youtube

Online and easy to use

Soundcloud offers remixes & other options Spotify doesn't hi minsoo its logan!! how you been! apple music and spotify are the same price of 9.99 per month. I personally think apple music is more user friendly

Both Soundcloud and Youtube allow amateur and professional producers to upload their music.

Spotify because I can sync offline, SoundCloud to listen to music that hasn't been officially released, and YouTube for music videos. cheap for students (5$ per month), sync on all devices, create and share playlists with the community as well as a really good radio selection

I like each for their different options of music. Spotify to keep all my songs together in easy access with numerous different add ons. Pandora for customizable radio music listening. Soundcloud to hear songs from new artists and to post my own music. And YouTube to watch the music videos of songs I like. spotify is easy to use and organized, youtube has everything

Finds me new music

Pandora introduces me to new music and YouTube allows me to see the music videos as well.

Extreme variety

Well they were the default media platforms I had on my phone.

It has an accompanying which I enjoy watching

Easy to find new songs

Spotify allows access to many songs in a convenient way Youtube has a larger variety of music and availability to covers and tutorials

Spotify- has a wide range of 's. Youtube-easy to find music if i didn't know name of song or artist.

Easy to find new music

wide access to many artists and songs

Soundcloud: I enjoy to listen to underground artists who create their own unique type of music rather than listening to mainstream music which all sounds the same Pandora: Pandora is a great way for me to discover other artists similar to those that I enjoy YouTube: mainly for music videos

Spotify: convenient and wide variety, Soundcloud: new music, Youtube: if it's not on Spotify

Nice browser

Spotify Premium lets me play whatever song I want & Soundcloud has a lot of good remix's

I like Pandora because I don't have to go around looking for songs to listen to, it plays it for me. I like Spotify because you can make playlists.

Both are free!

Youtube for music videos and when I want to listen to a specific song, Spotify normally when I want to listen to playlists or entire albums.

Easy to use and reasonable amounts of advertising
