Free Weezy Album Zip Free weezy album zip Continue Mixtape (20) Albums (1) Video (10) About the Game of Changing Artist and Celebrity, Lil Wayne began his career as almost a novelty - preteen delivering hardcore hip-hop - but after years of maturing and inventing a mixtape game, he has evolved into a million-selling rapper with a massive body of work, one so inventive and cunning that he makes his famous statement that the best rapper is worth considering. Born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. and raised in the infamous New Orleans neighborhood of Hollygrove, he was a straight-student but never felt that his true intelligence was expressed through any report card. He found that music was the best way to express himself, and after taking the name Gangsta D he began to write rhymes. Combining a strong work ethic with aggressive self-promotion, the 11-year-old convinced cash money label to take over, even if it was just for casual jobs around the office. A year later, at the house, producer Manny Fresh collaborated with him with 14-year-old B.G. and named the duo B.G.'z. Although only the name B.G. appeared on the cover, the 1995 album True Story was accepted as B.G.'z's debut album by both fans and Cash Money. The 1997 album Chopper City was supposed to be a sequel, but when Wayne accidentally shot himself in the chest 9 mm, it became a solo release B.G. In the same year he officially took the nickname Lil Wayne, dropping D from his name to separate himself from his absent father. He joined B.G., Juvenile and Young Turk for another project by Fresh, the teenage hardcore rap group Hot Boys, which released their debut album Get It How U Live!, in 1997. Two years later, Cash Money will sign a distribution deal with a major label Universal. The main distribution would help this year's Hot Boys album Guerrilla Warfare reach number one on the Billboard Top R'B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 1998, Lil Wayne appeared on the hit Juvenile Back That Thing Up, or Back That Azz Up, as he appeared on the album Juvie 400 Degreez. Wayne began his solo career a year later with the album Tha Block Is Hot, featuring the hit single the title track. It became double platinum, but the rapper was still unknown to Middle America, as his hardcore rhymes and coarse sound of Cash Money had not yet crossed. His second album, Lights Out (2000), failed to match the success of his predecessor, but he went gold, and with the appearance on the hit single Big Tymers #1 Stunna, his audience was certainly growing. While Fresh was primarily responsible for the start of his career, Wayne is now much closer to Fresh Guy Big Tymer and Cash CEO Birdman. When Juvenile left the label, Wayne - or Birdman Jr., as he called himself - showed his loyalty to his CEO by releasing an album with a title much hotter than Juvi's breakthrough efforts. Degreez landed in 2002 and although it went gold, rumors began to fly about financial money problems and possible demise. The rest of the Hot Boys deserted, and Wayne's 2003 album was written off, and instead it came out as an underground mixtape called Da Drought. Wayne became fascinated with the mixtape world after Da Drought attracted so much attention from the hip-hop press. He used these underground releases to earn anticipation of his next official album, The Breakthrough Effort of Tha Carter. Released in 2004, the album seemed familiar on the one hand with Manny's production of Fresh, but Wayne's cover was a terrifying surprise, and the rhymes he put on the tracks showed significant growth. His marketing skills have become sharper, too, and it wasn't a mistake that the hit album, Go DJ, mentioned hip-hop's greatest tasters right in the title. It reached number five on the singles chart, and with a guest shot at Destiny's Child number three single, Soldier, Wayne officially switched. On the other hand, his street credo was supported by a slew of mixtapes released in 2005, including popular titles Dedication with DJ Drama and Tha Suffix with DJ Khaled. The future of Cash Money was no longer in doubt, and the traditional rules of the music business no longer seemed to apply, as tracks would be leaked to the Internet and mixtapes of various DJs. Get Something was another bold move, as the video, funded by Universal, was made without the official release of the track. With its alternative marketing scheme running into overdrive, the 2005 landing of Tha Carter II was a major event, selling more than a quarter of a million copies in the week after its release. Fireman and Shooter with Robin Thicke were released as singles, while the album, which for the first time did not include productions of Mannie Fresh, went platinum. He also introduced his squad to Young Money, with performances from Currensy and Nicki Minaj, and originally came with a bonus-disc featuring Wayne's best hits screwed and sliced by Swishahouse DJ Michael 5000 Watts. A year later, he collaborated with Birdman for the album Like Father, Like Son, with the hit Stuntin' Like My Daddy. His mixtapes are still flooding the subway, including the stunning Dedication 2, which came with an iconic image of the rapper on the cover plus a lot talked about the track Georgia ... Bush, the poisonous response to President George W. Bush's handling of the Katrina disaster. With no official follow-up to Tha Carter II in sight, numerous collaborative tracks have kept the rapper in the mainstream with Chris Brown's Gimme That, Make It Rain Fat Joe, and Duffle Bag Boy on Playaz Circle becoming three of the biggest hits. Tha Carter III was promised for 2007 but did not arrive until a year later, departing Wayne's infamous reputation for delayed releases. Part of the problem was Leaks tracks the album, something grappling with the official, downloadable EP Leak released in the same year. Preceded by the number one hit Lollipop, Tha Carter III arrived in May 2008, selling more than a million copies in its first week of release. An appearance on Saturday Night Live and four Grammy Awards - including Best Rap Album - spoke of Wayne's main acceptance. He also performed at the Same year's Country Music Awards with Kid Rock, but instead of rap, he played guitar. Playing guitar was part of Wayne's new involvement in rock music, including his help in signing Kevin Rudolph to Cash Money plus an appearance on Rudolph's massive hit Let It Rock. His planned rock album was viewed with the 2009 single Prom queen, but when the album failed to fulfill its promised April release, the music press began to portray the rapper as the king of missed street dates. Indifferent, Wayne forged ahead with his Young Money team, releasing the underground mixtape Young Money Is the Army, Better Yet the Navy, the ground single Every Girl, and the official album We Are Young Money in the same year. His rock album Rebirth finally appeared in early 2010, which coincided with Wayne being sentenced to nine months in prison for criminal possession of a weapon. The rapper may have been behind bars on Riker Island, but that didn't stop his ten-song EP, I Am Not a Human Being, from watching Daylight in September 2010. Tha Carter IV was released in 2011 along with his lead single 6 Foot 7 Foot. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard 200. In 2013, the unflappable criticism that the controversial verse he had introduced to the future Karate Chop - he made a reference to Emmett Till, a black teenager horribly murdered in 1955 by white men - was in poor taste, Wayne released the second volume of I Am Not a Human Being. The album debuted at number two and included the singles No Worries and Love Me. A succession of singles designed to be repeatedly delayed by Tha Carter V followed, with Believe Me featuring Drake, an addition to Wayne's stock of certified platinum hits. Another track, Nothing But Trouble featuring Charlie Puth, was released in 2015 as a contribution to the soundtrack to 808: The Movie. That same year - to make his account a disappointment to fans due to Tha Carter V's delays - Wayne released Sorry 4 the Wait 2 on his own. By 2016, Wayne was embroiled in a legal battle with Birdman and Cash Money Records, further complicating the fate of Ta Carter W. These ongoing delays prompted the release of Free Weezy Album, another mixtape on the tide over his fans. By the end of the year he had published a memoir about his time spent on Riker's Island (Gone 'Til November) and scored another hit with Sucker for Pain, a collaboration for the chart-topping Suicide Squad soundtrack. THANKS Wiz Imagine Dragons, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign and X Ambassadors all stars topped the Billboard rap chart and peaked at number three on the RCB/hip-hop chart. Lil Wayne is already playing its part as the new co-owner of the tidal music streaming service. His first act of business is releasing a new mixtape called FWA, which is an acronym for Free Weezy Album. There's no need to worry though, we have tape as well. American rapper Lil Wayne released his 2015 album Free Weezy Album.

James McGlothlin. Gimme That Old Time Religion: Practicing the Library Faith in the New Millennium. A Master's paper for the M.S. in L.S. degree. April, 2008. 123 pages. Advisor: David Carr The Public Library Inquiry, a study performed by an independent team of social scientists at the behest of the American Library Association, was documented in a series of monographs printed between 1949 and 1952. These monographs made repeated reference to the “Library Faith,” articulated by Robert Leigh, director of the study, as “a belief in the virtue of the printed word, especially the book, the reading of which is held to be good in itself or from its reading flows that which is good.” The Public Library Inquiry asserted that the library faith had been the central value of the public library movement in America and that it “retains persistent validity.” This paper is a brief history of the Library Faith in American public libraries, followed by an examination of work by selected writers about public libraries and public education which focuses on the relationship between reading and democracy and the role public libraries have played and can continue to play in ensuring, in John Dewey’s words, “that an organized, articulate Public comes into being.” Headings: Public libraries -- History Public Library Inquiry (Project) Public libraries -- Aims and Objectives Librarianship -- Social Responsibilities Reading -- Educational Aspects Gimme That Old Time Religion: Practicing the Library Faith in the New Millennium by James McGlothlin A Master's paper submitted to the faculty of the School of Information and Library Science of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Library Science.
