This is a guide to the rules and guidelines for the role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons. As the title suggests, the book is an addition to the Player's Handbook edition. It introduces additional rules, new and new classes. The Player's Handbook II contents four new classes, as well as new spells, feats and new role-playing options. The second chapter introduces four new basic classes: Beguiler - a rogue-like spell-caster who specializes in illusions and charms. Dragon Shaman is a relatively rounded character who acquires mesmerizing abilities, similar to a dragon. Duskblade is an elven hybrid fighter and wizard, although it is available for any race. Knight - Legal fighters who use the Bard as charisma to draw menacing opponents from party members and on themselves as a tank in many MMORPGs In addition to these new classes, many rules are included for existing classes of characters. These include extended rules and options for many classes, new feats, more spells, and various role-playing options for characters. Other sections include information about the adventure group, the benefits of teamwork, and accessories. Finally, the last chapter contains information about changing the existing symbol. The may 2006 publication story saw the release of Player Ii's Handbook, intended to follow up the standard player manual. This book was developed by David Noonan. Art cover by Dan Scott, with interior art by Steve Belledin, Steve Ellis, Emily Fiegenschuh, Carl Frank, Ralph Horsley, David Hadnat, Michael Comark, Howard Lyon, Mike May, Jim Nelson, Lucio Parillo, Eric Polak, Steve Prescott, Mike Schleey, Ron Spencer, Franz Vohwinkel, and Eva Widermann. This book is based on an array of classes and races presented in the First Player's Handbook, adding to the game both old favorites and new ones, never-before-seen options. The book adds a new power source for the 4th edition of DDD: classes using a new primary power source include the barbarian and the Druids. Content (edit source The fourth basic set of rules in the 4th edition of the edition for dungeons and dragons of dragons The game, Player Handbook 2, or PHB2, is designed to be used along with the original 4th edition of Player's Handbook players to build their characters. PHB2 includes, among other things, races and classes that were considered core in previous editions but were excluded in the original issue of the 4th edition. It also adds a number of unique races and classes, as well as several new ways of paragon and epic fates. The book also includes a number of new feats, powers and rituals. The book is a little thinner than the first player's handbook, as it lacks detailed information on how to introduce new players to the game or an explanation of how the rules work. The book is organized into four chapters as to follow: Introduction - This brief foreword, among other things, introduces players to a new primitive source of food with a basic explanation of its origin and nature. Racing - This chapter represents new major races: virgins, dwarves, goliaths, semi-orts and shifters. The chapter also includes a new path of paragon for each of the major races, including from the previous player manual. Examples of inlcude by dexterous researchers for humans or from the satiety of Archosia for dragonborn. Classes - Here are the main classes from secret, divine and primitive sources of energy: avengers, barbarians, bards, druids, exiles, shamans, sorcerers and wardens. New designs and epic fates are also presented, such as a blood moon stalker, a wild magician, or a keeper. Character Options - This chapter includes new backgrounds based on social status, circumstances of birth, or races for players to use, along with new exploits, equipment and rituals. The app at the end of the chapter also includes a brief explanation of how to read power maps, as well as a revision of stealth rules for dungeons and dragons. And that's all well and good, but I want to see all the new classes, race players, prestige classes, and even sample classes that can take you beyond level 20, and just in general, a full new guide I mean hell, 4E had three of them and I loved how much content each one had.
