With perfect weather on tap for the 12th Annual Condors Golf Classic, last Mon- day’s event was a great event. The entire team partnered with Condors fans to take part in a golf tournament that benefi ted Kern Bridges Youth Homes. “The Bakersfi eld Condors 12th Annual Golf Charity Tournament with lead sponsors Bakersfi eld South Rotary and Citizens Business Bank raised funds to support the fos- ter children served by Kern Bridges Youth Homes,” said John Bacon of Kern Bridges Youth Homes. “The Marine Corps was there as well collecting toys for the Toys for Tots Program. Everyone had a great time and the children will have nicer holidays thanks to this fundraiser.” Each player was paired with a foursome as the teams competed in a best-ball format for the right to be crowned champions, earn a plaque and take bragging rights back to the locker room and workplace, while also raising money for a good cause. Due to a minor injury, C Adam Naglich served as LW Shawn Weller’s caddy for the day. “Nags helped drive the cart around and advised me on yardage,” said Weller. “He did a good job selecting clubs for me.” One player who needed no help selecting clubs was D Pierre-Luc Lessard, who pitched in for an eagle from 115 yards away. “I was pretty shocked it went in,” said Lessard. “I’ve chipped in like that before, but it was still great to do it.” But in the end, it was D Eric Regan’s Team Bigby squad that took the title with a score of 14-under on the day. “We had a really solid team,” said Regan, who teamed with Dennis Bigby, Steve Booth, Mark Chandler and Corky Graviss for the win. “We took a lot of my drives and irons, but everyone else was making those long puts. Most importantly, it was great to help raise money for such a good cause. We’re always excited to help the community out with events like these.” CONDORS STATS As of 11/08/09 Name GP G A PTS +/- PIM PPG SHG Pt/G PIMPG *8 Dan Sexton RW 11 8 8 16 6 4 1 0 1.45 0.36 23 Shawn Weller LW 11 3 9 12 5 14 3 0 1.09 1.27 *18 MacGregor Sharp C 11 4 7 11 5 6 0 0 1 0.55 29 Eric Regan D 11 3 6 9 -5 8 2 0 0.82 0.73 4 Sasha Pokulok D 11 5 2 7 3 6 1 0 0.64 0.55 *44 Stu Bickel D1107 7 6 220 0 0.642 9 Andrew Ianiero F 11 3 3 6 -2 4 0 0 0.55 0.36 *15 Maxime Macenauer C 7 1 4 5 0 6 0 0 0.71 0.86 22 Stephane Goulet RW 11 1 4 5 -4 10 1 0 0.45 0.91 5 Shaun Fisher D 11 0 5 5 0 26 0 0 0.45 2.36 12 John de Gray D 11 3 0 3 -2 8 1 0 0.27 0.73 19 Kyle Calder LW321310101 0 10 Mathieu Aubin C 7 0 2 2 -1 4 0 0 0.29 0.57 *11 Logan MacMillan LW 11 1 0 1 -3 7 0 1 0.09 0.64 *36 Mark Mitera D101 1 2 2 0 0 1 2 *6 Pierre-Luc Lessard D 6 0 1 1 -4 2 0 0 0.17 0.33 *7 Adam Naglich C1001 1 -24 0 0 0.10.4 *3 Raymond Eichenlaub D200002000 1 *2 Patrik Prokop D 3 0 0 0 1 4 0 0 0 1.33 31 Justin Pogge G4000020000.5 25 Erick Lizon RW50000140002.8 *33 Timo Pielmeier G800000000 0 *14 Nick Kemp RW9000-30000 0 Name GP Mins GA Shutouts Avg.
