Criticizing F. Zambonini's Natrod:tvyne (1910 ; 6th List), it is pointed out that in all analyses of davyne there is an excess of sodium over potassium- if, therefore, ' natrodavyne ' is to imply the absence of potassium, then A]calida~yne would be a more suitable name. The crystalline form could not be determined, and the mineral is given doubtfully as a new species allied to carnallite. Named after Dr. Jaume Almera, of Barcelona.
