40 Amp Electric Vehicle Charging Station for Toyota Level 2 EV Charging: 40A, 240V, 9.6kW output

Leviton introduces its next generation electric vehicle charging station -- designed with a durable thermoplastic enclosure. The Level 2 (240V) 40A charging station was designed exclusively for the Toyota RAV4 EV and is recommended by Toyota for optimizing the onboard charger on your vehicle. Designed, tested and assembled in the United States, the new charging station will charge the RAV4 EV in approximately 5 to 6 hours. The 40A charging station includes a 25-foot charging cable, which offers flexibility in the mounting location.

25’ Charging Cable Length provides flexibility in Installation mounting location The charging station box can not be mounted higher than 48” and the bottom of the box no lower than 18” from the floor for indoor Cord-Connected applications only per NEC 625. For surface mount applications order (plug-in) for surface EVB40-SPT. For EVB40-5PT (flush mount) and EVB40-SPT (surface mount) the NEMA 6-50R receptacle can not be greater than 12” from mount applications* the bottom of the box. Measurement taken from the bottom of the *EVB40-SPT only mounting bracket to the middle of the receptacle. See mounting Specifications template in EVK05-M.
