Wandering through its halls, she is forced to avoid several safety traps. During the escape, Alice uses new telekinetic forces, killing the guard. However, she is eventually killed by a bouncing mine hidden in the floor. Her body is dumped in a pit filled with dozens of other Alice clones, which is a failure of the ongoing Alice Corporation project. After attempts by the umbrella to hide the pollution of Raccoon City, the T-virus is spreading all over the world, devastating not only the human population, but the entire global environment. The real Alice wanders through the wasteland that was once the southwestern part of the United States, and after the fighting a family of looters, discovers information in an abandoned notebook referring to an uninfected area in Alaska. Alice soon realizes that she, like her clones, developed telekinetic abilities. Meanwhile, Dr. Sam Isaacs, a former Alice project manager and senior official at the North American umbrella facility in Nevada, considers Alice's return a top priority because of her ability to communicate with the T-virus without mutation. At a meeting of Umbrella executives, Isaacs tries to convince Umbrella's board of directors that he can use Alice's blood to develop a treatment that tames infected zombies. Isaacs' plan is rejected by Umbrella CEO Albert Weskeer, who orders Isaacs to return to his work with the clones. At the same time, a convoy of survivors led by Claire Redfield and Survivors of Raccoon City, Carlos Oliveira and L.J. Wade, travel the country in search of supplies and safe harbors. During a motel search, L.J. was bitten by a zombie. Fearing the harsh fate that awaits him, he decides not to tell other survivors about the trauma. The next morning, the convoy is attacked by infected crows. With the team almost overwhelmed, Alice appears and defeats the remaining crows with her newfound telekinesis, though she falls unconscious. Soon after, Alice met Claire and told her about the notebook, persuading her to take the convoy to Alaska. Isaacs' attempts to kill the infected lead to the creation of a new breed of zombies. Wesker security officer, Capt. Alexander Slater, reports Isaacs' blatant disregard for umbrella rules. Veskeer orders Slater to watch Isaacs, telling him to kill the scientist if he disobeys orders. Tracking the energy pattern, the telekinesis of Alice, the umbrella triangulation of her location. Desperate to return Alice to achieve his goals, Dr. Isaacs sends his new zombies to ambush the convoy against specific orders of the United States. During the attack, most of the convoy is killed, and L.Jay succumbs to his infection by biting Carlos. Umbrella tries to close Alice remotely, but she breaks out of Umbrella programs and continues to struggle. She finds Isaacs at the crime scene, and he is bitten when he runs away in a helicopter. Alice and K-Mart use Isaacs' computer to track the helicopter's flight path, leading them to the Umbrella Underground. The column approaches the Umbrella object, which is surrounded by thousands of zombies. Carlos sacrifices himself by plowing his truck into a crowd of zombies, blowing up the rig apart and giving Alice and Claire time to load the survivors into the helicopter. After the rescue, Alice decides to stay. On U.S. orders, Slater and a group of umbrella commandos take control of Isaacs' lab, where he injected himself with massive doses of the antivirus in an attempt to counteract his infection. shoots him, causing a mutation that turns Isaacs into a monstrous Tirana. Although he retains his intelligence, Isaacs kills Slater along with everyone else on the object, eventually becoming trapped at the lower levels of the lab. Approaching the stage, Alice meets the holographer of the sisters of the red queen, the white queen. She informs Alice that her blood can cure the T-virus, protects the previous actions of the red queen, and shows what happened to Dr. Isaacs. On the way to lower lab levels, Alice meets one of her clones who wakes up but seems to die of shock soon after. Alice discovers Isaacs/Tyrant, defeating him after leading him to a replica of the laser corridor Hive featured in the film's opening. Just as Alice is about to suffer the same fate, the system is deactivated by a clone that is still alive.
