Their ATV skills will also be tested and they will be questioned on flock management and health issues.

The competition winner will qualify to represent Wales at the European Young Shepherd of the Year Competition in Ireland later this year. He or she will then go on to represent NSA Cymru/Wales Region at the national Finals at NSA Sheep 2016 at Malvern.

NSA Wales Region will cover all travel and accommodation costs for the Welsh Region representative to attend NSA Sheep 2016 in Malvern.
