Entry Fees: The Society is offering concessionary rates in Classes 7 - 196 to exhibitors who are members of the Society. It could well be to your advantage to consider becoming a m ember. Members’ subscription rates and facilities are detailed below SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP Membership is an expression of interest in and support for the aims and objects of the Burwarton & District Agricultural Society and includes the right to attend, take part in and vote at the Annual General Meeting. Members are admitted free of charge to the annual Show and to the Members’ facilities on production of their membership badge. The Society will make no refund of membership subscriptions in the event of a Show being cancelled for whatever reason. Society membership benefits include: Free entrance to the Showground, ONE car pass for reserved forward parking in the Members’ only car park, use of Members’ Dining Pavilion and bar area, Grandstand Seating and use of Members’ high class toilet facilities. Guest membership – Members may introduce one guest each to these facilities on Show day on purchase of a Guest Badge at a cost of £10.00 (adult) or £5.00 (child) from the Information Point situated immediately outside the entrance to the Members’ bar area. Members’ forward parking will be available until 11.30 a.m. or until filled. DOUBLE MEMBERSHIP - TWO Adult Members. £38.00 if purchased before 1 May 2017. £40.00 thereafter. SINGLE MEMBERSHIP - ONE Adult Member. £24.00 if purchased before 1 May 2017. £26.00 thereafter. JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP (5-16 years) £5.00 each. DISABLED MEMBERS Limited Showground parking will be available for registered disabled members, provided prior application is made to the Show Manager. A covered viewing area will be provided adjacent to the Main Ring. A limited number of mobility scooters will be available for hire direct from Event Mobility on 01386 725391. Please book early to avoid disappointment. CLOSING DATE FOR MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS IS 15 JULY 2017. Membership applications received after this date will incur an additional £5.00 administration fee for each membership. Membership packs will be mailed out in July. All cheques unbanked within statutory six month period will be treated as a donation to the Society. No Prize Money will be awarded to any competitor whose entry does not appear under the appropriate class in the catalogue (unless entered under the Substitution Scheme in the Dairy Cattle Classes).
