L STAATSKOERANT, 6 JULIE 2012 No. 35472 3 Important Notice CONDITIONS FOR THE PUBLICATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR LIQUOR LICENCES The Government Gazette, containing publication of applications for liquor licences on behalf of the Department of Trade and Industry, is released during the first Friday of each calendar month. Closing times for the acceptance of liquor licence applications (see next page) due to be published on a specific Friday, are at 15:00 on the Friday two weeks prior to the publication date. Applications received by this office after the applicable closing times, will be retained for publication in the following Government Gazette containing liquor licences. In order to ensure timeous publication of liquor licences, all applications must be completed in full (English and Afrikaans) since amendments after the applicable closing dates will not be considered. Should the neccessary cheque or postal orders not accompany the appli- cation, the application will be returned. t Belangrike Kennisgewing VOORWAARDES VIR DIE PUBLIKASIE VAN AANSOEKE OM DRANKLISENSIES Die Staatskoerant, waarin aansoeke om dranklisensies namens die Departement van Handel en Nywerheid gepubliseer word, verskyn gedurende die eerste Vrydag van elke kalendermaand. (Orchidaceae) are re-evaluated. The genus is distinguished from Habenaria by the possession of a galeate rostellum, which is clearly separated from the vertical anthers, and a tooth in the spur mouth (secondarily lost in Bonatea rabaiensis (Rendle) Rolfe). Morphological evidence suggests that Bonatea bracteata G.McDonald and McMurtry and Bonatea tentaculifera Summerh. are better placed in Habenaria, where B. bracteata is treated as a synonym of Habenaria transvaalensis Schltr., and B. tentaculifera is renamed Habenaria bonateoides M.Ponsie. A taxonomic revision and key to the species of Bonatea is presented. Fourteen species are recognized, ten of which are found in South Africa. Full descriptions are provided with diagnostic characters and distribution maps. Bonatea eminii (Kraenzl.) Rolfe, known from a single collection destroyed in Berlin, is closely allied to Bonatea steudneri (Rchb.f.)     MOGALAKWENA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY State of Service Delivery in Mogalakwena Local Municipality Presentation to NCOP 29 October 2020 Background and Overview • Mogalakwena Municipality is situated in the western quadrant of the Limpopo Province, within the Waterberg District Municipality, and is bordered by Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality to the east, Mookgophong Local Municipality to the south, Lephalale Local Municipality to the west and Blouberg Local Municipality to the north • The total geographical area of the Mogalakwena is approximately 6166.0740 square kilometres • Mogalakwena Local Municipality constitute over 45 % of the Waterberg District Municipality’s total population with 307 682 and 79 396 households • The municipality consists of 3 proclaimed townships and 178 villages and also covers a range of other smaller settlements in the area between Mokopane and Rebone. • Development in Mogalakwena is based on three economic pillars: • tourism, agriculture and mining 2 GOVERNANCE • The municipality is constituted by 32 wards with 63 councillors – 32 ward councillors and, 31 PR councillors – 52 ANC councillors – 13 EFF – 6 DA – 1 COPE – 1 MRA – 1 VF Plus – 1 AZAPO • It should be noted that 1 ANC ward councillor resigned during 2018/19 Financial Year. • By-elections were then held in December 2018. Nearly fifty years ago the International Committee of Onomastic Sciences (ICOS) came into being. This body has held fifteen triennial international congresses to date, the most recent being in Leipzig in 1984. With its headquarters in Louvain, Belgium, it publishes a bibliographical and information periodical, Onoma, an indispensable aid to researchers. Since 1967 the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN) has provided for co-ordination and liaison between countries to further the standardization of geographical names. To date eleven working sessions and four international conferences have been held. In most countries of the world there are institutes and centres for onomastic research, official bodies for the national standardization of place names, and names societies.
