The event will take place in one of the 4b 6 su -temples of the Zen Rinzai Myoshin-ji complex. You need to access through Myoshin-ji South Gate.
To get to Myoshin-ji’s South Gate, From Kyoto Station, take the local train on the JR Sagano Line (Tracks 32 or 33) Get off at JR Hanazono 花園 Station. The South-Gate is a 10-minute walk to the northeast. You need another 5-min walk to access the venue.

Hanozono Kaikan Hotel a 5-min walk from the venue Japanese and Western styles bedrooms. There is a restaurant in the hotel (limited options around Myonshin-ji)

Myoshin-ji is a bit off-the-track, if you want to stay longer, we recommend that you choose a more convenient area (around Imperial Palace, Demach iyanagi or Kyoto Station). See below:

Most of the accommodations propose traditional Japanese futon beds and in some cases shared bath/bathroom.
Please note that the choice is more limited if you want to sleep in a western style room and have your private attached bathroom.
Convenient areas to stay are Sanjo, Marutamachi and the Imperial Palace, Demachiyanagi or Kyoto Station for example .
