Commanding Officer Notes - ***Cadets with expired IDs are not eligible to participate in drill weekends per NHQ regulations.*** If your cadet ID is expire you will not be allow to be at drill and will be sent home. ID cards are produced at NHQ and they need 1 to 2 weeks to process them. You can mail your dues payment in to us before drills and we can have a new ID card for your cadet at our next drill. Contact me for the mailing address.

We are running out of time on Wreaths across America sales – Cadets need to be selling wreaths, Departments need to be planning weekend booths (either on or off drill). If every cadet can sells one wreath, we will have a pizza party. The cadet that sells the most wreaths will earn a prize!

Parents and Cadets that use Facebook, please like and follow the unit Facebook page. This is a great communication tool. We are listed as: NSCC Battleship Utah Division BB31

XO Notes - We are still way behind on coursework progression – be prepared to be doing coursework during drill until we are caught up.

Quote of the Month- "There’s this misconception that the navy is this cruise ship, and you get to go out and sail around, and every now and then you have to swab the deck. But no, it is a very impressive group of young people that live at sea, in a place that’s very uncomfortable. They exude a pride that is well-deserved." -- Tom Hanks
