  • Famille Perrin Réserve Côtes Du Rhône Rouge - 2017
Famille Perrin Réserve Côtes du Rhône Rouge - 2017 Classic Côtes du Rhône. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, it’s a great everyday wine made almost exclusively from our Grand Prébois vineyards (for the Grenache) and our Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). A beautiful wine you should always have around! THE VINTAGE This 2017 vintage will be remembered as the year of all records: the driest year in 30 years, non-interventionist vineyard work, optimal harvest conditions, a very small yield due to climatic hazards, and wines with very rich potential. DESCRIPTION "Côtes du Rhône par Excellence". Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, its a great everyday wine. SITUATION This wine is a blend of Grenache (mainly from our Prébois vineyard in Orange), Syrah from further north (from our vineyard in Vinsobres) and Mourvèdre. TERROIR The vineyard of Prébois has clayey limestone soils covered with stones. In Vinsobres the terraces are rich in quartz and marl limestone. PROCESS The harvest date is determined by checking the ripeness of the grapes with analysis and tasting the berries. As soon as they arrive at the winery, the grapes are sorted and destemmed. The fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks between 150hl and 190hl. The extraction is done by pumping over and the frequency is determined by tasting. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wines are transferred partly to oak barrels and partly to stainless steel vats where they will be aged for a year. VARIETALS Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah TASTING NOTES Pretty deep colour. The nose offers a beautiful aromatic complexity, marked by Grenache and a hint of blackcurrant brought by the ripe Syrah.

  • Coudoulet De Beaucastel Rouge 2009 | © Famille Perrin | Design Vin.Co

  • Famille Perrin | Design Vin.Co CRV0E
Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge Originating from different terroirs in Côtes du Rhône Villages, this wine is one of the most faithful illustrations of the Southern Rhône Valley THE WINE This wine is produced by the Perrin family, using the same viticultural and wine- making techniques used at Château de Beaucastel THE VINTAGE In 2010, all the right conditions were united to produce an exceptional vintage. Heavy rainfall during spring, followed by a very hot summer and an Indian summer in September allowed for great harvest conditions. This vintage produced very balanced wines with intense notes of fruit and great finesse. LOCATION Just 20% of the Côtes-du-Rhône vineyard is entitled to add the word ‘Villages’ after the words ‘Côtes-du-Rhône’. These are the best vineyard sites. TERROIR Stony terraces over clay and limestone and gravel. AGEING The harvest is sorted and destemmed. Vinification then takes place in stainless steel and oak. Ageing in tanks and Foudre (25%) for a year. VARIETALS Grenache, Syrah SERVING Serve at 18°C TASTING NOTES Appearance: Dark ruby colour, with purple reflections Nose: Intense, macerated cherries and licorice. Mouth: Full-bodied with a generous attack, a pleasant freshness and elegant tannins. This well-balanced wine shows a typical expression of southern Rhône wine with a thyme and rosemary aftertaste WINE TASTING VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7yr6aOEJus 1/2 Famille Perrin - Les Crus - La ferrière, Route de Jonquières, 84100 Orange Tel. 33 (0) 4 90 11 12 00 - [email protected] www.familleperrin.com L’ABUS D’ALCOOL EST DANGEREUX POUR LA SANTÉ, SACHEZ APPRÉCIER ET CONSOMMER AVEC MODÉRATION.
